It seems KP Aravind is riding high on success. Just after winning the 2015 Raid de Himalaya, the Mangalore based rider won the MRF MOGRIP FMSCI National Rally Championship at Chikmagalur. Representing Team TVS Racing, he dominated the championship and in the fourth race at Chikmagalur he finished the race in 49.8 minutes.
Aravind’s teammate R Nataraj came out second as he finished the race in 49.29 minutes, emerged second. Aravind and Nataraj both were competing in the Group “A” class, while Abdul Wahid, became winner in the Group “B” M3 & M4: 4 stroke motorcycles 166-260 cc class, was third fastest overall with a total time of 53:04 minutes. Out of the 40 participants who started the race, only one could not finish. The race covered a total of 70 km. The special stage distance of the race was about 50 km, with a total of three sections. The stages were run inside the Kuvempu PG Centre and Police Training Centre.
