Featured Triumph Bonneville Bobber vs Harley Davidson Roadster

Triumph Bonneville Bobber vs Harley Davidson Roadster

The tale of a British Legend and an American Blockbuster.

The influence both these people have on us is simply a matter of a little sparse, a little spare, and an exercise in understatement. We just love it when we see either of them on our streets, and without a doubt being some of the world’s oldest motorcycle manufacturers, they’ve become the jack of their trades. Both Harley-Davidson and Triumph have ever been at the neck of each other and giving us products of exclusivity at its best.

For 2017, they take the game up a notch and have sounded all bells and whistles. Having a rich heritage to back them up with their newfound designs, both Harley and Triumph have created pieces of modern art that look too good to be true. They may have in some way or the other taken inspiration from each other to give birth to what could be some of the best looking iterations of their iconic brands vis-à-vis the Sportster series and the Bonneville range.

Both these machines have been launched on our soil, both of them cost the same, both of them have similar engine sizes, and both of them are the next big thing for their family lineage. Here is our extensive though on how these two modern machines live up to their iconic silhouettes.

Nothing else will look more retro and authentic on our roads.

Their Bonneville range is selling as fast as they can make them and just when you thought it’s time for them to take a well-deserved breather, they just pushed themselves into uncharted territory.

Today, the Brit launched this beast of a looker called the Bonneville Bobber onto the Indian streets for a price tag much less than what we expected. Based on the Triumph T120, this modern classic can be yours for a price tag of ₹9.09 lakh (ex-showroom). (Much lesser than what we expected it to be at around ₹12 lakh)

2016 Triumph Bonneville T100

A Classy Motorcycle which didn’t lost its identity

We all love the very beautiful Triumph Bonneville, don’t we! Over the last many decades, the Triumph Bonneville has been able to make the motorcyclists feel the unadulterated essence of motorcycling with its simplistic design and smooth power delivery, making the rider fall in love with the Bonneville each and every time he sits on the saddle of it.

But with the changing times, it is necessary to move with those changes and be up to date with the latest trends. Triumph too feels the same, and in an intention of making the classic roadster even more desirable, it has worked on the Bonneville platform to make it slightly more contemporary and more powerful. Few months back, Triumph upped the game by replacing the erstwhile existing Bonneville T100 with the more powerful and bigger Bonneville T120. But owing to the demand, Triumph has brought back the Bonneville T100 with some noticeable and comprehensive changes. Here’s our latest version of the all new Bonneville T100.

Calling it a “pure Bonneville hot rod” the British manufacturer captured the American way of the ‘30s in this brutally beautiful factory custom bobber. This is enough proof that this company has the guts to look elsewhere for inspiration when designing new models. And by the looks of it, they might have just manage to pull one over the Harleys or the Indian. That folks, is a statement.

Triumph At Auto Expo 2016

Triumph At Auto Expo 2016

When Triumph entered in the Indian market in its full swing in the last Auto Expo 2014, little did we knew that this British manufacturer will emerge as one of the fastest players in the performance oriented segments of two wheeler motoring in India. In the last couple of years, Triumph has affirmed its presence in almost all the segments of middleweight as well as liter class plus segments, with the adventure tourers and naked roadsters being the higher selling models out of its range.

While Triumph did had a not-so-memorable debacle of claiming false power outputs in its Indian history, the manufacturer has come a long way from that chapter and is looking forward to take the pace of its growth to an all new level. Which is why, Triumph showcased its entire range of motorcycles at the Auto Expo 2016. While some of the models displayed were the same motorcycles which are already on sale here, Triumph used this opportunity to launch a couple of models in the country, or to be precise, the all new Bonneville T120, Street Twin and Thruxton R models.

Here’s a complete range of the all motorcycles from Triumph which were kept at display at the Auto Expo 2016.
