The concept of an Adventure Tourer is definitely new in the Indian market although there are some more Tourers available in the Indian market but the V-Strom definitely attracted some attention with its sleek looks and powerful engine. This new Motorcycle replaced the DL 1000 which has dominated the Suzuki Tourer segment for a long time. The problem with the DL 1000 was that it was bulky and big comparatively the new V-Strom is light and sleek, it even has a more powerful engine which also comes with a bigger displacement. Another advantage with the new V-Strom is that it generates impressive amount of torque at lower rpm which also helps the rider to overcome any obstacle thrown in their way.
Suzuki is known all over the world for their sportsbike Hayabusa but this motorcycle has a totally different character and also is easy to ride and handles pretty well on any roads. Suzuki claims that the power of this motorcycle is manageable and its the simple electronic setups on board which makes the overall handling very easy. Suzuki has also provided two stages of traction control on the motorcycle while the ABS comes as standard feature.

This 2014 V-Strom is powered by a V-twin and liquid-cooled engine which comes with a displacement of 1037cc which is definitely more than its predecessor. This is one interesting motorcycle which has a duel character and which means it can be ridden on tarmac without any hassle while this motorcycle is also capable of taking you to your destination even when the road runs out.
