After selling zero units, Vespa 946 Emporio Armani gets takes off the shelves.
The reason I say that zero units have been sold is because Piaggio declined to release an official figure of the same. Nonetheless, there were rumours about orders and enquiries coming in for the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani.
After the Aprilia SRV 850 ABS/ATC (priced at ₹ 15 lakh), this scooter from another Italian maker was the most expensive scooter being on sale in India. It was commissioned by the famous Italian designer, Georgio Armani and was priced at ₹ 12.04 lakh. But now, since the contract between Armani and Piaggio has ended, the scooter is no longer on sale anywhere in the world.
The man was held captive since 2011 and was released a couple of months ago.

A rider is not born but is made. There is absolutely no harm in accepting that you are not the best rider and that there is always a better rider out there. But, that does not mean you don’t improve on it. You just ride more and try matching synergies with your motorcycle.

Like all good things coming to an end, the L-twin Brobdingnagian motor that is currently running on all street Ducati]s’ is also spurting towards the end and is being replaced by a V4 engine currently being developed for the Italian’s brand new fully faired superbike. It made its final act with the recently launched 1299 Panigale R Final Edition.

Yamaha’s new entrant says go "sports-touring". Can you really?
When Kawasaki launched the Ninja 1000 last month, we called it “The most serious sports tourer on the face of this planet, or any planet for that matter.” That is the best of both worlds. Period.
Now, the Japanese Blue team has come up with the “all-new aggressive tourer” Fazer 25. All they’ve done is slap a fairing onto the naked FZ 25 and called it a tourer. Not that I’m saying it’s wrong because that is what the Kawa guys did too with the Z1000. So technically, Yamaha’s Fazer 25 is marketed rightfully as a sports tourer.

When all of us rant about wearing your helmet and your riding jacket at all times on the road, we weren’t just being pushy. Every motorcyclist would have had a bad fall on their ride at one point or the other and some might even have succumbed to it, unfortunately. And most often than not, that would be because the rider just did not care enough to protect his head or his body from the fall.
A few get lucky without a scratch on their body and a few come out with broken bones and fractures. Nonetheless, it is common sense that a helmet and protective suit and gear goes a long distance in minimising the effect of a fall. That is exactly what happened to Chris Matheson here who flew off his drag racer at 250 mph.
