Benelli is trying hard to be a household name in India; they want people to rely on them and although they were not completely successful yet but they surely are making a progress to achieve that target. As a matter of fact the Italian two wheeler manufacturer has already launched some interesting products in the Indian market and they now shifted their focus completely towards introducing some new and exclusive entry level performance motorcycles.
Recently we came to know that Benelli is all set to debut the Tornado 302 in India which is actually the faired variant of the TNT 300 which is already available for sale in the Indian market. The new motorcycle definitely looks good and when it launches here it will take on some other fully faired variants like the Yamaha R3 and also the Kawasaki Ninja 300.
The Benelli Tornado 302 is powered by an inline twin cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC mill which produces about 35.3 PS of peak power at 12,000 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm. The engine is paired to 6 speed gearbox. In this video you can actually watch Benelli describes everything about the motorcycle starting from its power output to other important specifications. For all your information the motorcycle comes fitted with 41 mm upside down forks and monoshock suspension setup. While it also gets disc brakes for both its front and rear brakes which also comes fitted with duel channel ABS setup for the safety of the rider. The fully faired motorcycle has also features 100/70 section tyre in the front and 150/60 in the rear.
Compared to some of its other rivals the front portion of the motorcycle looks slightly broader than the rear section courtesy the huge fairing. Expect the motorcycle to hit the Indian roads early 2017.
