The Kinetic Group, which has given brands such as Luna and Kinetic Honda to India, will be bringing the motorcycles of MV Agusta to the Indian shores, and will be responsible for handling the sales and marketing operations of the Italian manufacturer in the country. The joint venture is expected to make a formal announcement in the month of July, as per which the product portfolio as well as number and name of dealerships will be announced.
The tie-up of MV Agusta with Kinetic Group is seen as a part of the former’s expansion plans for the Asian and South Asian two wheeler markets. Going by the recent action plans of majors such as Triumph, Ducati, Benelli and Kawasaki, MV Agusta sees a lot of potential in the booming market of superbikes in India, which is why it doesn’t want to be anymore late in the party.
