The Himalayan is powered by a completely new 410 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine which is capable of producing about 24.5 bhp of peak power and an impressive 32 Nm of torque. The UM Motorcycles Commando is a proper cruiser which is powered by a a single cylinder, 4 stroke, 4 valve engine capable of producing about 24.8 hp of peak power at 8500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm, the engine is paired to a 6 speed gearbox.

This is definitely the oldest motorcycle of the lot which has been serving Indian RE customers for a long time and even before the tech loaded RE thunderbird came into the scene. Just like the Thunderbird the Classic 350 is also available in two states of tune. The Classic 500 uses the same engine which powers the Thunderbird 350 as well while the Classic 350 too uses the same unit which powers the Thunderbird 350.

Compared to the Thunderbird the Classic is less equipped it has got straight handlebars and comfortable seats for both the rider as well as the pillion. The Classic also has a single disc brake towards the front while the rear gets drum brakes. Coming to the power, the 499 cc, Single Cylinder, 4 stroke, Twinspark engine is capable of producing about 27.2 Bhp of peak power and 41.3 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5 speed gearbox. The 346 cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke engine on the other hand produces about 19.8 Bhp of peak power and 28 Nm of torque, this engine is also paired to a 5 speed gearbox. The single downtube chassis which uses the engine as a stressed member definitely does justice to that heavy motorcycle. One particular motorcycle which definitely came i9nto0 the limelight recently is the Mahindra Mojo. Mahindra has taken a long time in its development and now that it’s finally here it is definitely getting some positive feedback from the people.

The Mahindra Mojo definitely gets plenty of modern equipment like sticky Pirelli tyres and dual exhaust which is enough to attract the motorcycle lovers furthermore it also gets a powerful 295cc, four stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine which churns out about 27 PS of power and 30 Nm of torque, the engine is paired to a six speed gearbox.

The Mojo definitely has got an interesting riding position which is neither too aggressive nor too commuter like, the long handlebars, the well positioned footpegs and the comfortable rider seat makes it a worthy touring motorcycle. The motorcycle also uses a 320 mm petal disc brakes towards its front and 240 mm disc brakes towards the rear but definitely the absence of ABS hurts.
