Brough Superior has finally unveiled its much-anticipated motorcycle, the Nefud Scrambler that is based on the brand’s own model, Lawrence. Read on to find out more about this truly magnificent scrambler motorcycle.
Brough Superior Nefud Scrambler
Brough Superior, based in Toulouse, France, is globally renowned for motorcycle manufacturing has been creating motorbikes that are neo-retro in design while carrying all the contemporary features that are necessary by all standards. In the latest news, the brand has unveiled a Lawrence-Based Nefud Scrambler bike. The motorcycle is characterized by the unique traits of the iconic Lawrence, a bike built with a focus on luxury, style, and off-road performance.
Constructed on a carbon fibre platform, the Lawrence has a unique appeal that is appreciated by moto enthusiasts across the globe. Further, named after famous archaeologist, author, diplomat, army officer, and motorcycle rider T.E. Lawrence, the scrambler resonates with the brand’s identity and the legend, T.E Lawrence’s idea of an ideal machine. Nonetheless, the all-new Nefud Scrambler is an extension to the said characteristics of the Lawrence bike in a far more advanced form factor.

What does it offer?
The Nefud Scrambler built on the Lawrence platform gets its name from the Nafud desert in Saudia Arabia. The motorcycle’s rusty-red ocher gradient-like livery is reminiscent of the red dunes that exist in the Arabian Peninsula. Further, the bike features high-mounted exhaust pipes, a skid plate, a fly screen, and a protective headlight grill for taking on the tough terrain among others.
Moreover, the Nefud Scrambler also gets high mounted or taller handlebars while the footpegs are set lower. It is for a superior and comfortable riding posture that is necessary to take on any type of terrain. Apart from the said features, the bike comes with spoke wheels, unlike the machine-cut alloy wheels that its counterpart, the Lawrence gets equipped with. Brough Superior has wrapped the robust wheels of the Nefud Scrambler with Michelin Anakee Wild tyres for coping up with the extreme off-road conditions.
Powertrain and specs
The Nefud Scrambler is built on a machined titanium chassis that houses a liquid-cooled 997cc 88-degree, V-Twin engine. The engine has the capacity to produce 102hp of maximum power and 64ft-lbs or 86.7Nm of torque. Furthermore, the bike gets a Fior-style fork in the front but both the front and the rear come with a mono-shock suspension setup too that has preload adjustments.
