Once Again! TVS Apache RTR 300 (TVS AKula 310) Caught Testing

Yes! It’s Coming and Soon. Well we are all quite excited about when the newest fully faired sportsbike from TVS will launch in India. From what it looks like TVS is leaving no stones unturned to launch their newest sportsbike on time and within this fiscal year.
It was once again caught testing and this time we have to agree that the spyshots are the clearest. This motorcycle is the production variant of the Akula 310 concept which was showcased at the Auto expo 2016. These spyshots does reveal fewer details about this upcoming sportsbike.
The production variant sportsbike will feature dual projector headlamps like the ones found in the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. While the rest of the front gets a nicely designed headlight fairing. This motorcycle also gets split sports seats as well. While towards the rear profile it gets a LED taillamps. Lastly the new Apache also gets clip on handlebars as well a fully digital instrument cluster as well.
The new production variant of the Akula will be powered by the 313 cc, single cylinder engine which has been developed in cooperation with TVS and BMW. This engine makes about 33.6 BHP of peak power at 9500 rpm and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7500 rpm on the VMW G310R. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
When launched, the TVS Apache RTR 310 (Akula 310) will compete directly with the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Yamaha R3.
