TVS launched the new Apache RTR 200 4V back in January 2016 and its already been 5 months after its launch and TVS still have not started selling their flagship offering yet. Only recently we came to know that TVS has commenced the deliveries of their newest product in only some of the major cities of India including Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai.

As of now the Apache RTR 200 4V is made available only in its carburetted non-ABS avatar while the fuel injected, ABS equipped higher Apache will be launched later. TVS also has plans to introduce stickier Pirelli tyres as an additional extra which will cost you an extra INR. 6000 but that too will only be available after few months.

The ex showroom price of the new Apache RTR 200 4V is 93,880, TVS has actually hiked the price of the new motorcycle by almost 4500 rupees which is bit disappointing. However TVS will be introducing the more loaded AVS and fuel injected variant later which will obviously be priced higher.

The new Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a single cylinder oil-cooled engine which produces about 20bhp and 18Nm of torque, the engine is paired to a five speed gearbox.
