According to a report by Zigwheels Bajaj has decided to stop the sale of their flagship model Discover 125 ST. The decision was taken by Bajaj after their product was unable to draw the expected crowd towards it.

The Discover 125 ST which was launched back in the year 2012 was one of the most powerful motorcycle of its segment which was also fitted with a monoshock absorbers at its rear which was also an unique feature for this segment beside the monoshock absorber it also had been fitted with petal disc brakes which too was segment first. But there were certain things which were a letdown for the motorcycle the first was its pricing, this motorcycle is priced at Rs. 55,168 (ex showroom Delhi) which is comparatively pricey compared to other motorcycles of its class. The rear seat was too high for a female pillion which was also a letdown afterall this motorcycle was mainly used by family members.

The Discover ST uses the modern Discover platform which is also shared by other commuters like the 125T and the 100T. The 125ST is powered by the 4 Valve twin spark air cooled engine which generated an amazing 13 Ps of maximum power at 9000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm.

If Bajaj Pulls the 125 ST from the Indian market then the people will be left with 3 options based on the new Discover platform which will include the 100T, 100M and the 125T priced at INR 50,272, 48,028 (with Disc) and 46,023 (with Drum brakes), 54,659 (with discs) and 51,762 (with drum) respectively .
