Here are all the details you need about the 2022 KTM 250 Adventure.
2022 KTM 250 Adventure Design
The 250 Adventure looks almost like its elder sibling, the 390 Adventure, and even shares the same bodywork, frame, and underpinning. The only noticeable change between these two adventure bikes is that the affordable 250 Adventure gets a halogen headlamp setup instead of the full LED unit found on the more powerful offering.
To keep the overall prices in check, the 250 Adventure also gets a basic LCD instrument cluster instead of the colorful and attractive TFT display unit found on the 390 Adventure.
For 2022 the 250 Adventure is also available with a pair of new color options- Electronic Orange and Factory Racing Blue.
2022 KTM 250 Adventure Specification
Powering the 2022 KTM 250 Adventure is the same 248.8cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This is the same engine that also does duty on the 250 Duke. The engine produces about 30 hp of peak power and 24 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a six-speed gearbox. Additionally, the 250 Adventure gets a slipper clutch as standard.
2022 KTM 250 Adventure Frame, Brakes, and Suspension
The 2022 KTM 250 Adventure trellis frame takes inspiration from the 450 KTM Rally bike. The sturdy frame is stable and light and gets a removable steel trellis sub-frame. It also features a die-cast open-lattice swingarm used in other KTM Adventure models.
KTM has not compromised on the hardware end of the 250 Adventure. The 250 adventure relies upon the use of the same WP Apex suspension setup at both front and rear with 170 millimeters of travel up front and 177 mm at the rear. This is the same suspension setup used on the 390 Adventure as well.
The motorcycle uses a 320 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. It gets a dual-channel ABS as standard with offroad ABS mode.
