Which motorcycle do you think has the finest looking face?

Here are industry’s magnificient machines saying something:

Let’s leave the custom builds out of this because, honestly speaking, they wouldn’t have existed if they failed to give a motorcycle a deserving face. But then again, why do any manufacturer for that matter exist if they too fail to give a motorcycle a well-looking face?

BMW is busy testing the 2018 S1000RR and it seems that the Germans are thorough this time.

BMW is finally getting all the bell and whistles of the current crop of superbikes posing a threat to the crowned.

Although late to the party, the Germans are finally upping the ante of their litre class superbike, the S 1000RR. The engineers gave it enough oomph to uphold its end of the bargain pretty well with the 2015 upgrade and the bike had a good run with class leading power figures and chassis structure, until now.

She is now, at eight years old, missing a few exquisite equipment list and sorts of electronic wizardry that adorns the modern 2017 competition like the Fireblades’, Ninjas’, R1s’ and the GSXs’. They are faster, lighter and cleverer than ever before and could easily clip off the S 1000 RR one by one. Luckily, BMW says enough is enough and are readying a machine that could spell out being the Pinnacle of German Engineering.

BMW Motorrad's instrument panel is getting an amazing new interface.

BMW Motorrad’s instrument panel is getting an amazing new interface.

Let’s see how it compares to the old school clusters.

They say competition is healthy. It brings the best out of each and everyone in the race and luckily for us, automotive manufacturers are looking for more than just brute power and performance to give the rider an experience he would never get elsewhere. The race to the top is getting more fearsome every passing day and the manufacturers are pulling out every little trick they have up their sleeves to make their product stand out from the rest.

BMW Motorrad is at the forefront of imagination, innovation and technology and proof of that is their latest instrument dashboard on their new generation motorcycles. Made up of a newfound technology known as the thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal display (TFT LCD), the unit provides in for a far more intuitive rider interface that improves image qualities such as addressability and contrast compared to the standard LCD displays.

Although this piece of tech is not brand-new and is made use by almost all motorcycle manufacturers these days on their high-end bikes, BMW here thinks that they have got the best package available via the unique operating concept of the new Connectivity option. It features a high-quality 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display that can also connect to your smartphone device via Bluetooth to enhance many possibilities for your ride. And we are here to decipher why it fares better than the LCD counterparts.

Although the bike is out of testing and production, BMW is still hesitant to launch the bike in our markets due to reasons not made official. BMW was touted to launch this motorcycle here a couple of months ago, but according to the source, they have postponed it by at least more than 6 to 7 months, which puts the launch date in our country only in 2018.

Watch Sarah Lezito take up the Park N Ride Challenge on the BMW G 310 R

A late-night car park race with bikes and longboards. That sounds like fun – and like Sarah.

There are many women taking up riding now and unlike before it is no more a taboo as perceived by society. Then there are those few who kick out all norms and do what they believe in. Enter Sarah ‘Lezito’ Vignot. A girl who has been gifted with a bank of talent to dance around with a machine on two-wheels. Where, for some, balancing on two wheels becomes a task, Sarah takes it to a different level altogether.

In this new video, she goes on a downhill race in the car park with bikes and longboards. Starting at the top of a multi-storey car park, three bikes along with people on longboards partner up and race down the building in a fun filled activity created by BMW Motorrad. NOTE: We do not endorse/promote stunt riding on public roads. Always consider safety first and wear a helmet and all riding gear.

Later in the year, the German brand BMW Motorrad will be launching its smallest motorcycle, the G 310 R which is manufactured here in India by TVS.
