2017 Ducati Diavel Diesel
You are allowed to think that Ducati has mastered the dark arts and cooked up this mad looking Diavel from a parallel universe with help of another Italian madhouse Haute couture production, Diesel.
Together they have couped up a radical looking post-apocalyptic machine that will tear apart any other cruiser down to its soul.
This motorcycle was announced as part of Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2017 and is going to be showcased at the upcoming Motor Bike Expo Italy from 20 to 22 January 2017.
In the words of Ducati Motor Holding CEO Claudio Domenicali - “The collaboration with Diesel enabled us to explore original stylistic and technical aspects whilst staying within the Ducati brand and fully respecting its values. In this case we worked with Diesel on an already uniquely original bike like the Diavel and the result was surprising to put it mildly. The details characterizing the Diavel Diesel cannot fail to captivate connoisseurs of special bikes but also people from different walks of life, such as fashion. It’s always stimulating for us to move outside the world of motorcycling and widen our brand’s areas of interest”.
2017 Maruti Suzuki Ignis
Suzuki unveiled the Ignis Crossover at the Tokyo Motor show and since then we knew that Maruti definitely will bring it to the Indian market. And after almost a year we were assured by the Maruti officials that they certainly will be introducing the new Ignis in India.
Now coming to the iconic Japanese auto maker Suzuki, they have been known for their small cars across the globe while their recent plans also are to launch almost 20 global car models. Maruti have already launched the Baleno hatchback which is the production variant of the IK-2 Concept and this is actually a global product which mens better build quality, improved interiors and impressive safety features feature for the passengers inside. Let’s not get into all those details and focus completely on the car which was launched today on 13th January 2017 at a gala event where Swedish DJ, Axwell performed live. To all our surprise Maruti has priced the Ignis compact Crossover quite aggressively which is actually a good thing.
The Ignis Crossover has derived from the IM-4 concept; the car was already previewed at the 2016 Auto expo and was unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor show. The Ignis Crossover is positioned below the Vitara Brezza hatchback and will compete with some other B-Segment hatchback & Crossovers like the Mahindra KUV100, Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo etc.

What To Expect From The Upcoming Ford Ecosport Compact SUV
Now there have been rumours surrounding the upcoming Ford Ecosport facelift while some are saying that Ford will be introducing the new facelift Ecosport which was showcased at the 2016 New York Auto show towards the second half of this year while other are saying that Ford will add some new features to the pre-facelift compact SUV and will launch it first before they introduce the new facelift SUV.
Whatever be the case the good news is that we are getting the new facelift compact SUV which will replace the current SUV by this year only. 2017 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce
Turning motorcycles into a work of art has become a trait at MV Agusta, and truly have been a bedroom wallpaper design. People who owned one, usually have another motorcycle from some other brand as well to do their everyday riding.
Until now, MV Agusta only built motorcycles that would eat apexes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Machines built to just simply look and go fast and handle like a stealth ninja. Now, the company has entered a whole new dimension. A touring motorcycle that has NOT been made by the inspirations of the marquee’s 75 world titles or racetrack pedigree. And what came out is the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce.
The boldest move by MV which meant redefining the process of making a world class motorcycle that could trump other brands. Now, even in the touring segment. Instead of crunching apexes and punching the straight, MV is giving you the pleasure of conquering the world of sweeping bends, stunning scenery and open roads.
A few days back we had featured the sinister looking BMW HP4 RACE. It is an advanced prototype of the power star, the S 1000RR-HP4 with full carbon fibre twin-spar main frame and rims that are made in the same factory that makes components for BMW’s iconic ‘i-series’ and 7 series of cars. It is a purposeful hand built by the blokes at BMW.
To build this exotic machine dripping with carbon fibre lust will feel like, considering their vast amount or resources and experience, an easy-peasy task for BMW, with regards to what is coming next.
Carbon fibre has been considered the most exotic material ever since McLaren first made use of it to build a monocoque chassis for its Formula One car, 35 years ago. And so did Rolf van der Heide, a Dutch engineer who had worked for Spyker and Carver (makers of three-wheeled road machines) in the past, saw endless possibilities of carbon fibre composites and went on to create the motorcycle of his dreams with it.
With his brother Sjors handling the business end and industrial designer Michiel, the ‘Gentleman’s Racer’ was born. With a 100% carbon fibre monocoque chassis, a 100% carbon fibre swing arm, a 100% carbon fibre front end and a patent pending revolutionary designed suspension system, we see this as a genesis of a new breed of mankind who is not scared witless to venture into the realm reserved only for the upper-crust.
2017 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin
For some people, adventure is about finding your way through the unknown and doing things most have not or seeing things never seen before is a savour best felt. But unless you plan on walking, you need a way to get there. This is where Honda’s new offering comes in and sweeps you off your feet in the most humble and matured way.
Almost 30 years ago, the Africa Twin conquered the Paris-Dakar Rally. This year, it’s been re-imagined with the same True Adventure spirit and is hitting the Indian shores after a delay of nearly a couple of years.
With the Dakar rally, some manufacturers were happy about being participated, but Honda went on to win 1-2-3 positions in 1986. Just 5 years after their first appearance. And they did it on the then Africa Twin.
Honda have now made use of that wild experience and fed it into their brand new avatar of that legendary Dakar motorcycle, the NXR750, and gives us the CRF 1000L Africa Twin. A machine born in the factory but tamed in the wilderness that inherits the “go anywhere” phenomena and embodies the latest of technology and engine construction to literally do just that without any fuss.
With this motorcycle, Honda throws a challenge at us - ‘It’s not a question of how far your Honda will go. It’s how far you’re willing to take it’. And knowing the reliability of a Honda, I’m guessing it’s a challenge for us to take upon without having to think twice about the machine.
2017 Ducati 1299 Superleggera
Ducati always have had this insanity in them to time and again bring up machines that push the boundaries of two-wheeled glory, a boundary that will make every other manufacturer look like a speck of dust. For this alone, we must hand it to the Italian with all pomp and flair that they can literally pull off a true bloody special edition.
And this time we are talking about a 215 bhp of carbon fibre, the Ducati 1299 Superleggera. Which by the name itself means “simply light”. This is, ladies and gentlemen, the world’s first factory built superbike that is equipped with frame, swingarm, subframe, bodywork and the wheels built out of carbon fibre.
Ducati tells the world that ‘The 1299 Superleggera is the greatest expression of engineering, technology and performance ever put into mass production by a motorcycle manufacturer‘. It is a reminiscence of the legendary 1199 Superleggera.
Under all this is what I call a ‘Brobdingnagian’ twin Superquadro power house that can scare the daylights out of most seasoned riders. If that still does not fit your bill, the electronics package on this, one would need a Master’s degree and a PhD to understand the concepts of it, and by the time you do understand, you would stop caring about it because your brain is gizzing already.

The same Italian madhouse production that gave us the F3 800 RC, the hottest performing middleweight sportbike in production, upgraded their Reparto Corse line-up with this condescending streetfighter born out of the experience gained by MV Agusta with their rich participation in World Superbike and Supersport arenas. 2017 KTM Duke 390 vs Yamaha YZF-R3 vs Kawasaki Ninja 300
Buckle up because it is going to be a wild ride. 2017 will see the launch of the brand new KTM Duke 390 that is said to wipe out the competition. The Australian company decided to give the already successful KTM Duke 390 a revamp and what we’ve noticed is that the naked version is up for a spotlight rather than the full faired RC edition. It made its global debut at the EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show in Italy and post its debut, will make way into the Indian market in 2017.
The Yamaha YZF-R3 was released in 2016 and it made the rest of the 300cc line-up shake by winning the coveted Bike of the year for 2016 and it threatened the rule of the RC 390 as well because of its all-round package. Then there was the Kawasaki Ninja 300 which although it was trumped by the other two in many categories it has earned the reputation of being a reliable, well built, and refined offering in this class.

2017 Nissan Versa Note
Launched at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the second-generation Note arrived on a new platform that Nissan introduced with the Micra. Although slightly longer and wider than its predecessor, the new Note had a significantly lower roof, trading the former MPV-style looks for a more standard hatchback layout. The Note crossed the pond to the U.S. in 2013, when it replaced the hatchback version of the Versa and was renamed the Versa Note. The North American model also sports the biggest engine available with the nameplate globally, a 1.6-liter four-cylinder. In other markets, the Note uses a 1.2-liter three-cylinder and a 1.5-liter four-pot diesel. The Versa Note was redesigned for the 2017 model year, when it received Nissan’s recent styling language and a few interior updates.
Much like all recent redesigns and facelifts, the updated Versa Note adopted Nissan’s "V-Motion" grille, a design highlight that is already available on the majority of the company’s vehicles. In the U.S., the Verso and the Verso Note were the last models to not feature the grille. Thanks to the new "V-Motion" element, the Versa Note bears a closer family resemblance to the larger Nissan Sentra, Altima,(mot) and Maxima, while also boasting a sportier design that’s more in line with recently updated competitors such as the Honda Fit, Chevrolet Sonic, (art), Kia Rio(url) and Ford Fiesta. 2017 Honda CBR1000RR SP
Honda’s stable at the 2016 Intermot motorcycle show was all pomp and fanfare as they showcased their 2017 Honda CBR1000RR SP. This is an all new redesigned package from Honda which showcased major updates from since nearly a decade to give them a fighting chance in the already competitive high-tech superbike arena.
Honda made everyone sweat when they launched the CBR900RR in 1992 having huge power numbers and weighing lesser than the closest competitor. For the Fireblade’s 25th anniversary, Honda has gone big with the updated engine, chassis, electronic suspension and a whole bunch of rider aids package all combined with the hefty weight loss giving the rivals a run for their money.
