Tata Motors Launches Hexa Crossover 8 Key Points That You Should Keep In Mind
Tata Motors has launched the Hexa Crossover in India today. This will replace the Aria in the Indian market and will lock horns with the Mahindra XUV500 and the newly launched Toyota Innova Crysta. The Hexa has been tested by Tata Motors over the span of 2 years and under extreme climate conditions. Tata Motors will be launching their newest Crossover the Hexa on 18th January 2017. The SUV took almost two years for development and this new TVC shows exactly what the SUV went through during its testing period. The video quite clearly shows that the Hexa was tested at -15 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature that it went through was 50 degree Celsius.
The overall Hexa Crossovers styling was perfected in over 3 different studios across three different Countries. According to Tata Motors they actually have done whatever it takes to make this Crossover perfect.
The Hexa Crossover will be powered by a 2.2 Litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine which is capable of producing about 156 Hp of peak power and an equally impressive 400 Nm of torque. The SUV will be offered with both 4x2 as well as 4x4 configurations. The engine as you already know by now will eb paired to a 6 speed automatic transmission while it will also get a 6 speed manual transmission as standard.
The top end Hexa variants will get plenty of equipements on bo0th its exterior as well interior while on the exterior the Hexa comes equipped with projector headlamps, fog lamps, LED DRLs bigger 18 inch alloy wheels and LED tail lamps. Mahindra Planning To Launch A Premium SUV To Take On Fortuner & Endeavour
It seems like Mahindra now wants to enter deeper water and according to the recent reports the home grown auto manufacturer are now planning to launch a completely new SUV. Their upcoming SUV will also be their flagship offering and will be positioned above their current SUV offering the XUV500.
The all new SUV will be the production variant of the next generation Rexton which was showcased as LIV-2 concept at the 2016 Paris Motor show. Codenamed as Y400 the SUV showcased was actually a full sized SUV. The new SUV which was showcased was the next generation Rexton but the production variant will be rebadged and sold with the Mahindra nameplate in India. The new SUV will be based on body on frame chassis and will provide seating for 7 passengers inside.
The reports also states that M&M also plans to gain more advantage over the other SUV’s of its segment by equipping the SUV with best in class features. The LIV2 concept which was showcased at the Paris Motor show was equipped with plenty of premium features like a huge infotainment screen on the dashboard which gets plenty of features like Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There are different screens for the rear seat passengers as well and through the rear console the passengers can even control the front infotainment system as well. The concept variant was equipped with captain seats; some other features might also include mood lighting inside the cabin.
2017 Tata Xenon Yodha
Tata is on the roll this year because they already have launched the first product of this year for the Indian market already. The Xenon Yoddha range of pickup trucks is an important product for Tata Motors both in the National as well as International markets. The Xenon range of trucks was introduced by Tata Motors at the 2006 Bologna Motor show and was launched back in 2007. There is no doubt that the Xenon gets a stylish exterior, comfortable interior.
The new Xenon Yoddha pickup truck was launched today in the presence of the manufacturers newly appointed brand Ambassador Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. This truck also promises to be a new benchmark in the pickup segment. Renault Unlisted The Koleos SUV & Fluence Sedan From Their Official Website
From what it looks like Renault India has discontinued the Koleos SUV from the Indian market. They have removed the SUV from their Indian official website as well Apart from the SUV it also seems that Renault has also discontinued their D segment sedan Fluence as well because this sedan too has been removed from their official website.
Although Renault hasn’t released any official statement yet but perhaps this was the right move for them. Both the Koleos and the Fluence does not have many takers in the Indian market mainly because of their steep pricing compared to their rivals. Some reports suggests that the manufacturer now wants to shift their focus entirely towards those particular products which has atleast 80 percent localisation and not to those products which are completely knocked down (CKD) and semi-knocked down (SKD) units.
Although the Koleos was assembled in India at the auto manufacturers plant but the kits were imported and as a result of all that the Koleos was actually priced way above its rivals which was the main reason of its low sales figures.
Renault has also plans to launch some new products which will be heavily localized and which also means that the overall prices will be priced quite aggressively.

Land Rover Launches The Range Rover Evoque In India
Land Rover launched the new and updated Range Rover Evoque in India today. The best selling model from Land Rover prices starts from INR. 49.10 lakh for the base Pure trim while the top end HSE Dynamic trim is priced at INR. 64.65 lakh.
The updated RR Evoque hasn’t received any major changes in terms of styling but instead decided to equip the SUV with more features. As a result of that the new RR Evoque gets a restyled front bumper and also a new grille. To make it looks slightly more aggressive it even features bigger air intakes as well. As far as some other exterior features are concerned it gets full LED headlamps as well. Just like the front profile the rear profile too gets an updated LED taillamps as well. Inside things looks new as well, to begin with the RR Evoque gets redesigned instrument cluster and soft touch materials. The seats too has been redesigned as well, the front seats gets massage function as well available as an option. The dashboard also gets an 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Tata Motors To Launch Hexa SUV On January 18th 2017
So its official Tata Motors is all set to launch their much waited Hexa Crossover on 18th January 2017 in India. This Crossover will be replacing the Arya in the market and will compete with some other big names like the Mahindra XUV500 and the Toyota Innova Crysta.
The production variant of the Hexa made its first appearance at the 2016 Auto expo this year and recently the manufacturer conducted media drive for the press, they even opened Tata Hexa Experience centre where people can come and experience in person what the Hexa Crossover is actually capable of and can book the vehicle directly.
Powering the Hexa Crossover is the same 2.2 Litre Varicor diesel unit which will be available in two states of tune. The Varicor 320 will power the entry level trims while the top end trims will be powered by the Varicor 400 unit. The 2.2 Litre Varicor 320 unit is capable of producing about 150 Hp of peak power and around 320 Nm of torque. While the more powerful Varicor 400 unit is capable of producing about 156 Hp of peak power and 400 Nm of torque. The Crossover will be paired to a 6 speed manual transmission as standard while there will also be 6 speed automatic transmission offered as an option as well. As you all already know by now that the Hexa Crossover will be made available with both four wheel drive as well as two wheel drive option.
BMW Introduces Petrol Variant Of The X3 & X5 SUV In India
BMW has introduced the petrol variant of their X3 and X5 Crossover in India today. This step has been taken by time in order to expand their petrol model lineup in the market. The X3 is launched in the xDrive28i trim and is priced at INR. 54.9 lakh while BMW has decided to introduce the X Drive 35i trim for the X5 variant and is priced at INR. 73.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The X3 xDrive28i is powered by the 2.0-litre TwinPower four-cylinder turbo-petrol motor. This unit is capable of producing about 245hp of peak power and 350Nm of torque in between paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard. BMW claims that the SUV is capable of sprinting from 0-100kph in 6.5 seconds. The car can sprint from 0-100 km/h mark in just 6.5 seconds.
The Petrol X3 will take on the Mercedes GLC and the recently introduced Land Rover Discover Sport. The SUV has received a completely new front face which gets slightly restyled front and rear bumpers. Headlamp which comes integrated with LED units. While towards the side profile it gets a completely new alloy wheels as well. Inside the car gets a Piano Black central console and dark coloured upholstery. It also gets a bootlid which comes with electric opening function.
Jeep Compass Spotted On Indian Road As Launch Nears
The upcoming Jeep Compass SUV was spotted in Mumbai recently by the Carwale team. The Jeep Compass SUV is one SUV for which many of the Indian Jeep fans are eagerly waiting for because this will be the cheapest SUV from Jeep which will set foot in the Indian market. Actually we are wrong this SUV will be manufactured in India itself which will be the main reason for its aggressive pricing. The car will be produced at the FCA-Tata JV’s plant in Ranjangaon
This new SUV will be positioned below the Jeep Wrangler available for sale in the Indian market. Because this will be produced locally thus expect the pricing to also be aggressive at the same time. The Jeep Compass SUV will be available in the Indian market with both diesel and petrol engine option. While the diesel mill is expected to get the 2.0L, 4 cylinder, Multijet II turbodiesel unit while the petrol variant will most probably get the 1.4 Litre unit. Both the engines will be paired either to a 6 speed manual gearbox or there will also be an automatic gearbox as well on offer.

Tata Motors is leaving no stones unturned to promote their upcoming Crossover Hexa. Recently Tata Motors inaugurated Hexa Experience centre which has been designed especially for the customers to come and experience their upcoming lifestyle vehicle Hexa even before its launch. It is not too long not to remember all the hypes around the Hyundai Creta. The stylish compact SUV launched in India last year made quite an impression in the Indian automobile industry. Just before the launch Hyundai received more than 20000 bookings for Creta. Compact SUVs are the new found love of this country’s automobile buyers. Tata Hexa Bookings Now Open Launch In January 2017

Tata Motors already showcased the production variant of the their new SUV at the 2016 Auto expo and they will be launching the Hexa in January 2017 here in India.
According to the latest report Tata Motors has already started taking in bookings for their new SUV and those who are interested to get their hands on the new SUV can pay a booking amount of INR. 5000 and can book the vehicle. The amount is also fully refundable if incase any of the customers wants to cancel the booking later.
Coming to the vehicle the Hexa will get the 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine under its hood which produces about 156 Ps of peak power and 400 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired to a 6 speed manual gearbox while there will also be an automatic gearbox as an option as well. Hyundai Motor India Teases Tucson SUV Launch On November 14th
Hyundai is all set to introduce their global SUV Tucson soon in the Indian market. The SUV was already showcased at the 2016 Auto expo where it attracted quite a bit of attention. The Tucson which actually means ‘Strong Sun’ in the native American language will be positioned above the Creta sedan but will sit below their flasgship SUV Santa Fe SUV.
The new Tucson SUV adopts Hyundai Motor’s new development philosophy of ‘Innovation of Fundamentals’ which showcases their Safety, Performance, Ride & Handling, Durability and Low NVH levels which were possible with plenty of research experiments and continuous innovations which are mostly customer centric. Just like the Elantra the Tucson will be locally assembled in India and thus expect it to be priced comparatively.
The third SUV in the Hyundai lineup will be available in the Indian market with both diesel and petrol variants. The petrol variant will get the 2.0-litre MPI four-cylinder petrol engine which produces about 152 Ps of peak power and 195 Nm of torque. The diesel variant on the other hand will get the 2.0-litre CRDi four-cylinder unit which will be available in two states of tune, the base variant will produce about 136 Ps while the top variant will produce about 184 Ps of peak power. Both these variants will get either the 6 speed manual or the 6 speed automatic gearbox. The top end variants will also get the all wheel drive system as well.
Expect the upcoming Hyundai Tucson to be priced in between INR. 17 to 22 lakhs ex showroom.
2018 Mercedes-Benz Concept X-CLASS
We all were eagerly waiting for the first premium pickup truck from Mercedes-Benz and although our Indian market is definitely not a popular market for the Pickup trucks but this could change it all. According to Mercedes this pickup truck will combine the best of both worlds. Mercedes says that this truck design resembles tough, functional, strong, and its off-road capability. These trucks obviously carry the 3 star logo and focuses on brand design, comfort and also the driving dynamics and safety at the same time.
With this product Mercedes Benz also wants to extend its vans product range and this will be the fourth model. Mercedes-Benz has plans to launch these truck in the world market towards late 2017 and it will launch under the Mercedes-Benz X-Class nameplate. Mercedes-Benz are hopeful that their new product will change the segment of Mid-Size pickups.
This mid-size truck will be based on the ladder type frame chassis and will also use a powerful six cylinder engine and also a permanent all wheel drive system as well which Mercedes thinks is compulsory for a truck. Few years ago the pickup trucks were only used for workload purpose but now they are actually also becoming a versatile vehicle for daily use. Toyota Fortuner Teased Ahead Of Its Launch On 7th November
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has already teased the new Fortuner SUV just few days ahead of its official launch. Toyota has decided to launch the new Fortuner on 7th November 2016 while some dealers have already started taking bookings for the SUV as well.

2016 Jaguar F-Pace
