He is one of the biggest business tycoons of India, chairman of India’s largest and oldest business conglomerate. We have seen him very quiet at difficult times. As it seems he is a very private person, and world knows nothing about his life away from his office.

We are talking about Ratan Naval Tata, the ex chairman of Tata Group. For decades we have seen Mr. Ratan Tata pioneering the Indian automotive industry to a new dimension. It is no surprise, that Ratan Tata has been emotionally attached with Tata Motors. He made the impossible task possible with the Tata Indica and Tata Nano. To put it in a simple way, we can say, Ratan Tata is crazy about cars, in his personal life and professional life as well.

During his tenure as the chairman of Tata Group, he has been spotted many times behind his exotic car’s steering near his residence on South Bombay roads. It is also a known fact that every weekend he takes his cars for a spin. Now, as he has retired from the post, he invests more time for his exotic rides. He is also known as one of the few business tycoons around the world who loves to take the seat behind the steering wheel rather than being seated at the rear and driven by chauffeur. Inside Ratan Tata’s garage there are dozens of beautiful cars and we tried to bring you one look at them.

Check the list.

We all are aware of the fact that Tata Motors is replacing their old products with the new ones and according to the reports Tata will replace their existing Indigo Indigo eCS compact sedan with a brand new compact sedan which will be called the Kite.

Now recently Tata launched the Zest which is slowly gaining popularity amongst the crowd and the Kite compact sedan will be their second offering in the same entry level compact sedan segment of India which by the way has become one of the most competitive and crowded segments of the Country recently. Like the Tata Zest the Kite compact sedan too will also have a hatchback sibling based on the same platform which will replace the aging Indica hatchback which also has been here in the Indian market for a long time and have done wonders for Tata Motors in the past.

With the reference of the spy images you can expect that the soon to be launched Tata Kite compact sedan will also carry the new aggressive styling policy adopted by Tata Motors. Under the hood of this upcoming compact sedan which by the way will be positioned below the Tata Zest expect a 1.05 liter-3 cylinder turbo diesel motor to power the diesel variant of the compact sedan while the petrol variant will most probably use the 1.2 Litre Petrol engine, Tata might also install an automated transmission along with the manual transmission in this upcoming compact sedan.

Expect the new Kite compact sedan to arrive in the Indian market by the 2015 end or early 201 priced in the range of 4.2 to 6 Lakh rupee bracket.
