Tata Starts Taking Pre-Bookings For Tigor Styleback Launch On 29th March
Tata Motors today commenced the pre-Bookings for their soon to be launched Tigor Styleback from today onward. The Tigor is the production variant of the Kite5 sedan which was showcased at the 2016 Auto expo and will be launching in the Indian market on 29th March 2017. The bookings for the upcoming compact sedan like we said has already commenced across all the dealerships in India with booking amounts of INR, 5000.
There is no doubt in the fact that the Tigor brings a fresh new air of break freestyling to its segment. The the new styling and design approach is meant to the new and fast generations of the Country according to Tata Motors.
Coming to the car, in particular, the Tigor is the third car from the Tata Motors lineup which embodies IMPACT design philosophy. India Spec Tata Tigor Styleback Fully Revealed Before Its Launch With Complete Details
Tata Motors today commenced the media drive for their soon to be launched compact sedan Tigor. The Tigor is the sedan variant based on their popular Tiago hatchback, and it will be launched in India officially on 29th March.
The Tigor is production variant of the Kite5 concept car which was showcased at the 2016 Auto expo, New Delhi. Tata Motors is calling it a fastback instead of a regular sedan because they don’t want the car just be called the Tiago hatchback with a new boot. That is also the reason why Tata Motors has given the Tigor a fastback like a roofline which sweeps down beautifully towards the rear profile and blends perfectly with the rear profile, this designing can only be seen in some premium sedans.
The Tata Motors Tigor although is based on the same XO platform which underpins the Tiago hatch but it has an extended wheelbase than the regular hatchback. The extended wheelbase has resulted in slightly more rear legroom. Furthermore, the front seats of the sedan have also has been redesigned to generate more leg room. The Tiago also has a boot space of 419 Litres.
2018 Tamo RACEMO
Last month when Tata Motors introduce their new sub-brand Tamo in India, they did inform at the time of introduction that they will also be taking covers of the first product from the same sub-brand at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor show. They indeed kept their promise and showcased the first product which surprisingly was a two-seater sports coupe.
The newest Sports Coupe is called ‘Racemo’ and is still in its concept form but this will soon turn into a reality and will go on sale in the Indian market in the year 2018 promised the Tata Motors officials. The Tamo is an experimental platform for Tata Motors which will not build mass oriented cars but some exciting products equipped with all the modern features and technology in limited numbers.
The Racemo designed at the company’s studio in Italy, and it gets its styling inspiration from Tata Motors IMPACT design language. The recent reports also suggest that the production variant of the car will also be showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo before it finally hits the Indian road.

Production Spec Tata Nexon Caught Undisguised Way Ahead Of Its Launch
Only recently we came to know that Tata Motors is all set to introduce the new Nexon compact SUV in India before Diwali 2017. The production spec of the Compact SUV was also showcased recently at 2017, Geneva Motor show. However, Carwale was able to click some undisguised pictures of what looks like the production spec of the Nexon compact SUV recently.
The sub-4 meter SUV will compete directly with the likes of the Toyota Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura Cross and the soon to be launched Honda WR-V Crossovers when it finally launches here. According to the reports, Tata Motors will price the new compact SUV aggressively.
The undisguised car which was spotted looked identical to the Nexon show car showcased recently at the 2017 Geneva Motor show. Towards the front profile, the compact SUV features a large honeycomb mesh grille with the Tata Motor logo at the centre. The headlamp unit looks quite similar to the ones found in the concept car showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in New Delhi. While the lower trims will get halogen lamps, the top end trim will receive projector units. Expect the front headlamp unit also to integrate LED daytime running lights as well. The front profile also gets aggressive looking bumpers which also houses round shaped fog lamps as well.
Tata To Launch Nexon Compact SUV In October 2017
At a recent interview, Tata Motors Managing Director Guenter Butscheck has confirmed that Tata Motors will be launching the all new Nexon compact SUV in India towards the month of October 2017. To make it more clear the Tata Nexon SUV will launch in Indian market before Diwali 2017. There is no doubt in the fact that the car sales are highest during the festive seasons and almost all the auto manufacturer either comes up with a new product or tries to offer big discounts on their existing products.
Coming to the Nexon, this is Tata’s new generation product which was showcased as a concept for the first time at the 2016 Auto Expo and now recently it was showcased in its production form alongside the Tigor compact sedan which will launch in India on March 29th.
The range-topping compact SUV will get plenty of sophisticated and advanced technologies and features. The exterior will receive new projector headlamp unit and a LED daytime running lamps as well. The front grille gets finished in gloss black besides that front bumper will also house round shaped fog lamps. Towards the side profile, the SUV will feature bigger 17-inch alloy wheels. Tamo Racemo Two Seater Sports Coupe From Tata Motors Showcased At 2017 Geneva Motor Show
Tata Motors recently introduced their sub-brand ‘TAMO’ which promises to add new technologies to define future mobility solutions. Tata Motors will use the TAMO platform to add small volume, low investment models to provide fast-tracked proves of techniques and concepts. The Indian Auto Maker already announced during the launch of their new sub-brand that they will be introducing their first car at the upcoming 87th Geneva Motors show and like they promised, TAMO unveiled their first product at the Motor show. The new car is called ‘RACEMO,’ and what makes this even more interesting is that this is the brand’s first two-seater, mid-engine sports coupe.
The ‘RACEMO’ sports coupe designed at the Tata Motors studio in Italy, and it gets its styling inspiration from Tata’s impact design language. The Sports Coupe is the first product from Tata Motors sub-brand TAMO and rumours are that it will make it to Indian market towards the end of this year and showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.
The Racemo is India’s first ‘phygital’ car, which merges both digitals as well as the physical world. Besides that, this also happens to be India’s first connected car which brings in many new connected technologies like advanced navigation, predictive maintenance, remote monitoring. This sports coupe also features over the air updates using Microsoft cloud-based technologies.
Tata To Launch Tigor Compact Sedan On 29th March
At the ongoing 2017 Geneva Motor show Tata Motors official confirmed that they will be launching the much awaited Tata Tigor compact sedan in India on 29th March 2017.
The production spec Tigor made its World premiere at the 87th Geneva Motor show. Tata Motors also showcased the Nexon SUV at the show which they also said will be launching in India towards the end of this year. According to Tata Motors, the Tigor has been designed like a styleback and it is not like any of the other 3 box sedans which are its rivals. The best thing about the upcoming sedan is that this will be the cheapest compact sedan which will be on sale in the Indian market.
As far as the styling is concerned the Tigor does get some extra features which come in the form of projector headlamps towards the front. The front bumper also has been tweaked to appear different from the ones found on the hatchback. Towards the side profile, the Tigor also gets bigger 15-inch alloy wheels as well. Expect the same cabin to be carried forward to the compact sedan from the hatchback.
Under the hood, the Tigor compact sedan will also share the same 1.2 Litre Revotron 3 cylinder unit from the hatchback while the diesel variant will get the 1.05 Litre Revotorq unit. Both the engine will be paired to a 5-speed manual transmission while also expect Tata Motors to equip the top end variants with the recently introduced AMT gearbox as well.

Tata Motors Introduces AMT Gearbox On The Tiago Hatchback
There is no doubt that the Tiago hatchback has definitely enlisted its name in the Tata Motors successful list of products. But in order to stay in the competition and make their product even more attractive, the Indian Auto manufacturer introduced the AMT variant of the hatchback as well. The the TIAGO Easy-Shift AMT. Priced at INR 5.73 lakhs, (ex-showroom Mumbai) and INR 5.39 lakhs, (ex-showroom Delhi}.

Tata Hexa Pulls A Boeing 737-800 Aircraft: Video

Taking ‘Whatever it Takes’ philosophy of the brand to the next level Tata Motors has released a new video where you can watch the production variant of the Hexa Crossover pulling a real and fully equipped Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
They surely set a new benchmark amongst the Indian automobile industry by completing this stunt on the Indian soil. According to Mr Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, that they were delighted to complete this incredible challenge with the newly launched Hexa Crossover. He added that the vehicle is capable of achieving the unthinkable and at the same time was also confident that the car would be able to complete the challenge. He also said that the new video would be able to bring forward the capabilities of the Hexa Crossover by towing such a significant mass and also creating a National record.
The vehicle which was used to achieve this record is powered by the 2.2 Litre VARICOR 400 units, which is capable of producing about 400 Nm of torque which has helped to pull the large aircraft. The Hexa was able to pull the plane over a distance of 50 metres demonstrating with certitude the immense reserve power and torque ability of the HEXA.

Tata Tiago Petrol AMT Details Leaked
We heard rumours of Tata Motors introducing the AMT variant of the Tiago and from what it seems like the rumours were actually true. Recently a leaked spec sheet gave away all the details that one needs about these soon to be launched Tata Tiago AMT variants.
The AMT variant of the Tiago was already spied earlier and it will be available with the petrol variant only. The Tiago AMT, when launched, will compete directly with the Alto K10 AMT and the Celerio AMT.
With the launch now almost near Team-BHP was able to get their hands on some leaked spec sheets of the Tiago AMT variant. To begin with, the AMT variant will be available with the top two variants only. The details leaked online said that the Tiago AMT will only be available with the top end XT and XZ trims.
Thus the AMT gearbox will be equipped only with the 1.2 Litre, 3 cylinder Revotron petrol unit capable of producing about 85 PS of peak power and 114 Nm. Apart from just the addition of the AMT gearbox, there won’t be any other changes to be made to the AMT equipped car. As far as the pricing is concerned to expect the AMT variant to be priced a tad bit higher than the manual variants.
After the Nano and the Zest, the Tiago will actually be the third model to be offered with AMT transmission.
Tata’s Upcoming Compact Sedan Tigor Spotted Without Camouflage Wearing The Badge
