Honda City Facelift Completely Revealed In These New Set Of Spy Images
We already have reported earlier that Honda will be launching the City facelift in the markets of Thailand on 13th January 2017 and offcourse! The Indian launch too isn’t far away.
The City facelift was already caught undisguised but this new image reveals the front and rear profile of the sedan completely. Like we already said before the front end of the sedan now looks like that they have taken inspiration from the new generation Civic and Accord. The headlamp shape also has been slightly redesigned as well furthermore the headlamps unit now also gets integrated daytime running lamps. The new bolder looking grille runs into the headlamp area and gives the front profile a slightly more shaper look. The front bumper has also been designed and it now gets 3 air intake slots along with the fog lamps as well. The other change comes in the form of new 16 inch alloy wheels and a slightly tweaked rear bumper.
On the inside the City facelift sedan will most likely get an all new infotainment system which is compatible with both Apple car play and Android Auto system. This new touchscreen infotainment system also gets a navigation system as well. The City facelift will likely also get the all black interior as well. While for the safety of the passengers it will feature six airbags as well along with ABS and EBD.
According to the reports the Thailand spec City facelift will retain the 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine capable of producing 120 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,600 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5 speed manual gearbox. While the other variant gets the CVT Transmission as an option.
Honda City Facelift Spied On Indian Soil For The First Time
Honda will be launching the City facelift in India after it launches in the market of Thailand on 12th January. The car was teased in Thailand social media couple of times but the midsize sedan was caught on the Indian soil undisguised for the very first time during a TVC shoot. Now as already reported earlier the sedan sports a design inspired from the new generation Civic and Accord.
The City facelift for the first time gets wraparound new LED headlamps, redesigned bumper and fog lamps towards the front. While towards the rear the sedan gets a LED taillamps as well. While towards the side profile it gets 16 inch diamond cut alloys. The City sedan facelift also gets an all black interior. The slightly redesigned dashboard houses a new touchscreen infotainment system which also integrates an Apple car play and Android Auto compatibility.
The City facelift will continue with the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and i-DTEC diesel engines but offcourse Honda will make some improvements. The drivetrain will be paired to the same 6 speed manual as well as 6 speed automatic transmissions.
Expect the City facelift launch to take place towards the month of February 2017 after its Thailand launch. As far as the pricing is concerned it will be priced slightly higher than the pre-facelift variants.

The City sedan has been here in the Indian market for quite some time now and has ruled the segment with its road presence and that impressive IVTEC motor. Then when it was time Honda introduced the diesel motor as well along with few other updates. Now with the rising competition Honda has actually decided to introduce the facelift variant City sedan after almost three years since it’s got its last update. This is a mid-cycle update that the car will get before Honda introduces the new generation sedan.
Now according to the recent report Honda will be unveiling the 2017 City sedan facelift on January 12th in Thailand and it will also definitely make it to the Indian shores within few more weeks from now.

Tata’s Upcoming Kite 5 Sedan’s Top Variant Spied Completely Undisguised
Some recent completely undisguised photos of Tata’s upcoming Kite 5 compact sedan are going rounds on the internet. Tata Motors showcased the compact sedan for the first time at the 2016 Auto expo and after that it was also spotted couple of times being tested on road.
The model which was spotted in this spyshot is most probably the top end trim and it not only gets a completely new exterior paint but also gets plenty of exciting new features. To begin with the top end trim gets stylish diamond cut alloy wheels, side turn indicators integrated on the ORVM’s, a thick chrome line bar in between the two taillamps at the rear. Although the front profile of the sedan is not highlighted in these images but gets the same face like the Tata Tiago hatchback. However we do feel that the top end trim might get projector units as well instead of the regular halogen units. The biggest advantage of the Tata’s new compact sedan is that it promises to offer an impressive amount of boot space at the rear. Tata claims that the Kite 5 compact sedan will offer around 420 Litres of boot space.
Coming to the interior expect the upcoming compact sedan to get a completely an all Black interior with some contrasting colour accents. As far as the drivetrain are concerned expect this new compact sedan to share the same 1.2 Litre Revotron petrol and 1.05 Litre Revotorq diesel engine under the hood. Both this engines will be paired to a 5 speed manual transmission however there can be an AMT transmission on offer as well.
Expect the Tiago based compact sedan to hit the showrooms in mid 2017 and wit will take on some other rivals like the Honda Amaze and upcoming Chevrolet Beat Essentia sedan.
Chevrolet Essentia Sedan Launching In Mid 2017
Chevrolet seriously needs to refresh their lineup and fast if they want to make an impact in the Indian market. Their existing products Sail sedan and Sail UV-A hatchback failed to impress the Indian customers which is the main reason behind their poor sales figures. In order to stay in the competition Chevrolet definitely has some big plans for the Indian market which will come in the form of some new launches. Now we all know by now Chevrolet will be launching the new generation Beat hatchback sometimes in 2017 and beside the new hatchback they also will launch a compact sedan as well based on the new generation hatch.
Chevrolet already showcased the compact sedan concept which was called Beat Essentia concept at the 2016 Auto expo and it attracted lot of attention. The Essentia concept was packed with plenty of modern features which definitely impressed everyone at the show.
The Beat Essentia concept is based on the new Beat hatchback platform. The new compact sedan has been designed at General Motors Korea design studio. While the front profile looks like the hatchback variant the rest of the profile too looks interesting.. The Beat Essentia compact hatchback surely looks interesting from the rear as well. It also gets a huge boot at the rear while the taillamps design too looks interesting at the same time.
Ford Aspire Titanium Automatic Variant Gets Seven Airbags Now!
Ford has once again updated their Figo Aspire sedan and this time the top end Titanium trim gets the newest addition. According to the recent reports Ford has now included a total of seven airbags in this trim. Previously the top of the line compact sedan variant was equipped with total of 6 airbags and now Ford has decided to include a driver knee airbag as well beside the other six airbags which includes dual front airbags for the driver and the front passenger and curtain airbags for the rear passenger.
The manual variant of the Titanium trim on the other hand gets the dual front airbags only while the other safety measures includes ABS which is available as standard. The top end Titanium+ trim however does not any changes in the safety measures and continues with the same 6 airbags.
With the inclusion of the knee airbag the Ford Figo Aspire Titanium AT becomes the first car in the sub 10 Lakh rupee segment which gets a total of seven airbags in total. Apart from the airbag Ford recently also included ABS in their mid-level Trend trim recently as well.
Recently plenty of Indian manufacturers has also increased airbags as standard in their cars but Ford on the other hand surely stays ahead of the race when it comes to safety of the occupants.
Next Generation Maruti Swift Dzire Gets LED Taillamps
The next generation Maruti Swift Dzire was spotted testing once again in India. This will make its debut in our market way before the 2017 Swift does. For all your information the next generation Swift Dzire is expected to make its entry into the Indian market towards H2 2017.
The images quite clearly reveal that the upcoming Swift Dzire hatchback will get LED brake lamps which are integrated inside the taillamps cluster. While the taillamps design seems to be all new the headlamps too has been redesigned as well and now integrated a projector units along with LED DRL lamps. Apart from all that the front profile also gets completely new much more aggressive bumpers which also gts bigger air dams. The side profile too receives its fare share of change which comes in the form of side turn indicators integrated into the ORVM’s and new set of wheels.
The next generation Swift will also get a completely new interior as well which will feature a completely new steering wheel, new instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system and much more comfortable seats.
Under the hood the new generation Swift and Swift Dzire will get 1.2L Dualjet 4-cyl petrol engine will come equipped with SHVS technology while the other engine on offer will be the 1.0L Boosterjet (turbocharged) 3-cyl petrol engine. This engines will be paired to a 5 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic transmission.
2017 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Maruti Suzuki has received tremendous response when they actually launched the Ciaz sedan in the Indian market. This sedan not only helped Maruti Suzuki to compete with the most popular mid-size sedan Honda City but also actually helped Maruti to enter the premium segment of the Country. Both these sedans have been in the Indian market for quite some time now and have received minor updates of their own but now when Honda has decided to launch the facelift City which is expected to receive plenty of new updates and perhaps a redesigned exterior as well. Now when Maruti’s rival is all set to launch an updated City how can they stay behind. So according to the recent reports Maruti is all set to introduce the facelift variant of the Ciaz next year.
The Maruti Ciaz facelift is expected to launch towards the first of 2017 and because this is a facelift so don’t expect any major changes apart from cosmetic updates. Expect Maruti to sell the new sedan via their Nexa outlet which currently sell the SX4 Cross and the Baleno hatchback.

2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class

Mercedes-Benz Launches 2017 CLA Class In India (Prices, Specs & Many More)
Mercedes Benz launched their most affordable luxury sedan CLA facelift in India today. The prices for this facelift sedan start at INR. 31.40 lakhs for the CLA 200 Style diesel, while the diesel CLA 200 d Sport is priced at INR. 34.68 Lakhs. The petrol 200 CLA Sport on the other hand is priced at INR. 33.68 Lakhs (ex showroom, Mumbai).
If we talk about the changes to its exterior design then the 2017 CLA facelift features a new diamond effect radiator grille, while the headlamp design remains the same but the facelift model now gets new LED daytime running lamps and also optional Multibeam LED headlamps. The other changes towards the front include a restyled bumper as well. While the side profile remains identical the rear profile now features a slightly tweaked LED taillamps while the rear bumper also has been tweaked to match the front profile.

Tata Kite 5 Compact Sedan Launch In Early 2017: The Story So Far
Well! We all already know by now that Tata is all set to introduce a new compact SUV which will be based on their existing Tiago hatchback. The car was already showcased at the 2016 Auto expo. Mercedes Benz To Launch Facelft CLA This November 2016
Mercedes Benz is all set to introduce the facelift 2017 CLA compact sedan in India on November 30th. This will replace the existing sedan which was launched almost two years ago has definitely hit the sweet spot with its aggressive pricing and out of this world styling.
The facelift CLA has received subtle updates to both its exterior and interior and these updates looks identical to those that are found of the facelift A-Class. The updated CLA now gets LED DRL lamps which looks a lot sleeker while the low beam headlamps use projector technology while the main high beam lamp beam uses LED reflection technology. The front profile has also received a new radiator grille as well. It also gets a light weight alloy wheels as well. Volvo Launches Their Much Awaited Flagship Sedan S90 In India
Volvo today has finally launched the much anticipated S90 luxury sedan in India. The car was first showcased at the 2016 NAIAS in January. The Swedish automaker’s flagship offering has been priced at INR. from INR 53.5 lakh, (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The S90 is a fully loaded sedan which not only looks futuristic but also gets all the bells and whistles inside. The car will compete directly with the German rivals like the Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series and also the Audi A6. As of now Volvo has decided to introduce only a single D4 trim for the sedan for the Indian market.
Under the hood the S90 sedan is powered by 2.0-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine which is capable of producing about 190 hp of peak power at 4,250 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine is paired to 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission which sends power directly to the front wheels. The car will be sold in the Indian market via the CBU route and expect the deliveries to begin from December onward.
The S90 sedan replaced the manufacturers S80 sedan and underpins the same Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA) platform which also underpins their flagship XC90 SUV. The sedan gets sharp styling and towards the front features the same sharp looking headlamps which house the LED headlamps and offcourse! Their latest Thor’s hammer daytime running lamps which can also been seen on the XC90 SUV. Towards the side profile the sedan gets 10-spoke, 18-inch Silver finished Diamond Cut wheels. Towards the rear profile the sedan gets twin exhaust which adds a sportier styling.
