I was actually quite surprised and shocked at the same time when I saw this news and instantly thought of sharing it with our viewers. We all know that the Abu Dhabi Police has some of the exotic cars in their fleet but things have actually gone to a whole new level when they recently added the W- Motors Lykan Hypersport to their collection. Shocked! Don’t be because it is true as you can notice from the images.
The Abu Dhabi Police cars fleet already has some big car names in their collection like that of the Rolls Royce Phantom, Bugatti Veyron, Aston Martin One-77, Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, Ferrrari FF, BMW M6 Gran Coupe and now this. The Lykan Hypersport will be displayed at one of the most important tourist attraction spot in UAE and those who want to get a glimpse can visit UAE and see the car in flesh. The Lykan Hypersport is a very rare car and the manufacturer has built only 7 of this car in total and each car is priced at around $ 3.4 Million that’s a lot of money for a car.
The last time you have seen this car is in the fast and furious 7 movie where it was driven across the high storey building by Vin Diesel. This is one exclusive supercar which can accelerate really fast 0-100 km/h comes in just 2.8 seconds while it can reach a top speed of about 386 km/h. All that power comes from a RUF-developed twin-turbo, flat-six 3.7-liter engine which produces about 760 Bhp of peak power and an impressive 1000 Nm of torque.
Surely the crooks in town of Dubai will actually have to thin k twice before doing any crime and escaping.
Tata Nano, the cheapest car in the world has been modified to play a new (if not surprising) role for the New Delhi Police.
In the ongoing International Security Expo being held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, a concept model of a Tata Nano as an ’emergency response vehicle’ was shawcased by the Delhi police. What’s baffling is that the Nano has been chosen over many other existing cars in India to serve as a Police Control Room (PCR) which will be used by the female cops to help women and children facing problems on the streets.
This car was launched by the security firm known as ’Grand’, a brand known to supply beacons to government vehicles. Since the theme of the security fair of this year was ’Made in India’, the company chose the Nano because of its Indian origin and its size, which allows it to scamper around. The customized Nano is slapped with the traditional police equipment like the emergency blue-red color beacon, graphics and logos of Delhi police, a siren and search lights on the exterior. The interior is fitted with medical gadgets as well as first aid facilities, should any injury occur.
This car was inaugurated by the Union Home Secretary, Anil Goswami who appreciated the efforts behind all the presentations in the Exhibition and said that the paramilitary officials and police forces would be asked to explore various offerings in the exhibitions and decide whether anything could be relevant to their needs. The Tata Nano is a very popular car in India and it will definitely grab attention in its new avatar, but before that it’ll be needing a nod from the Delhi police.
Still, no better than the Dubai Police’s lineup that includes a $2 million Aston Martin One-77...
