After Maruti-Suzuki chose not to update the diesel engine for the BS6 norms, it eradicated the oil burner from its lineup completely. Even diesel-only vehicles were now offered with petrol mills which seemed a little odd initially. One such product is the Brezza, now powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine was recently put to test on a drag strip against a turbocharged, three-cylinder engine of the Magnite on the drag strip.
