Turbocharged vs Naturally Aspirated – Watch The Nissan Magnite Take On The Maruti-Suzuki Brezza On The Drag Strip
Does the turbocharged Magnite have enough oomph to beat the Brezza?
After Maruti-Suzuki chose not to update the diesel engine for the BS6 norms, it eradicated the oil burner from its lineup completely. Even diesel-only vehicles were now offered with petrol mills which seemed a little odd initially. One such product is the Brezza, now powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine was recently put to test on a drag strip against a turbocharged, three-cylinder engine of the Magnite on the drag strip. Do you think the Magnite, with its extra toque and lightweight build, get the win over its veteran rival, or will be wise man school the new kid on the block with its free-revving engine?
The water saved by Nissan over 3 years is almost equal to Water consumption of 25, 000 houses in a single day
Although the World Environment Day was last week, we have some good news for you guys. Nissan has conserved 6.1 million litres of water over the period of past three years by using an innovative car wash technique. Nissan was able to innovate and use this advanced foam wash technique to clean those cars which come for services at their service centres. This is Nissan’s dedication to delivering sustainable mobility to their existing customers and also to the society.
Car washes are an integral part of any after sales and servicing, and for that, a large amount of water is also required. Standard Car Washes generally need upto 160 Litres of water to clean a single car. The foam washes introduced back in 2014 by Nissan at their Service centres requires only 90 Litres of water compared to the 160 Litre of water thus reducing water consumption by almost 45 percent. Since 2014 Nissan was able to save more than 6.1 Million Litres of water which is equivalent to the water consumption of around 25,000 households in India for one day.
Sanjeev Aggarwal, VP- After Sales, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. said, "Nissan always aims to deliver innovative and best-in-class sales and after-sales service to its customers. Using the foam wash technique for our customers’ cars saves their time and a significant amount of water. That’s a winning combination for both Nissan and Datsun customers and for the environment."

The new cars will hit the Indian market within the next two years and some already did
Remember the good old times, not more than a decade ago, when the Indian car market was much lesser crowded than what it was. The first 10 years of the 21st century saw the advent of most of the big giants in the country, which initiated their journey with some world class products which were much popular overseas. However, call it the end of their long lifecycle, their much-ahead-of-the-time or their ill fate of not being received with open hands, most of these globally hit cars died off after a time frame.
Thankfully, all their parent manufacturers still have some soft corners in their hearts for these cars, which is why some of them are making a full-fledged comeback, in all new generation models. These cars will now feature massive changes in and out and are planning to now shake up the well-settled up segment, rather than just creating them what their previous generation models did. Following is a list of seven such previously available cars which are making a comeback in 2017 in the Indian car market:-
list of cars which offers an automatic transmission without burning a deep hole in your pocket and effecting fuel efficiency
In recent years, we have seen a lot of new changes which our country has been undergoing through, in each and every aspect of human lifestyle. Speaking of automobiles too, we have seen the advent of various new techniques and features which have resulted in a surge in car sales, thus increasing the number of cars on the roads day by day, resulting in a kind of chaos and traffic problems, especially in metropolitan cities.
Due to rising inconvenience caused by poor traffic management, many prospective buyers are shifting towards cars which are offering the convenience of automatic transmissions. As a result, many budget cars are now being offered with an automatic transmission. In the recent years, we have seen a lot of new technologies implemented on automatic cars compared to old days; the entry-level mass market cars were available with the option of only conventional torque converters. In the recent times, we have all seen many manufacturers switching out to new and more contemporary options of automatic transmissions like CVT and AMT, which do offer the convenience of a conventional automatic gearbox, but not at the expense of lower fuel economy and higher maintenance.
In this feature, we are going to throw some light on the ten most affordable automatic cars available in the Indian car market right now, which are aimed at those potential car buyers who wants to enjoy the convenience of an automatic car but without shelling too much from their bank balance.

He not only owns few of them but also keeps thorough knowledge about each one of his premium possessions be it car or motorcycles. Only recently when the actor was present at the launch event of the Nissan GT-R he said that he was the first customer in India of this brand new Supercar.
The Bollywood Actor is not only the owner of the all new Supercar but actually also owns a special Nissan GT-R Black Edition which is the only one of its kind in India. The car is not finished in Black but also gets some other features as well. To begin with it gets an all black exterior and interior treatment. They may be small in size but provides the same amount of thrill
We Indians buy cars for majorly enhancing or depicting our social status and growth among others, which is a hard fact but truth. No matter whatever our need is, we want the best possible package in the minimum possible price range, which has made almost all the automobile manufacturers scratch their brains and come out with unique and different products from the models available globally. Thus, there is no surprise to the admission of almost all the automakers that India is a tough market to understand.
Take for instance, the segment of compact SUVs. Now, previously, the SUVs were perceived to be an epitome of perennial success achieved by the elite class, as a result of which SUVs were totally out of reach for all the common man and middle class of the country. However, times have changed, and today, we have a huge range of compact SUVs and crossovers to choose from, which offer the versatility and road presence of large SUVs, but at a price of a premium hatchback or a C-segment sedan, making them good options for upgrading from an entry level hatchback or a sedan. Lately, we have also seen a handful of sub four meter SUVs from notable manufacturers, which was almost an unthinkable concept few years ago.
In this feature story, we have noted down all the compact SUVs and crossovers, both sub four meter and above four meter of length, which have dramatically changed the scenario of automobile manufacturers in the country. Such is the popularity of this segment in India, that all the models mentioned here are among the bread earners of their respective makers. Here’s a list of all the compact SUVs and crossovers available in the Indian market today:-

The updated Godzila gets more power and better hardware
Are these Japanese sportscars better than the ones found in the European other side of the World? Well! This has always been a controversial question and quite honestly many of us avoid or ignore to answer it. Offcourse they are technologically advanced and are full of electronic aids which make them safest and easily drivable car on road but they never actually fit in the garage of pure car enthusiasts. The Nissan Skyline which has broken number of records and won many prestigious awards was produced in between the time period of 1969-2002. Later the Japanese auto manufacturer decided to withdraw the Skyline GT-R and introduce its successor the Nissan GT-R which no longer was a part of the Skyline range but was technologically advanced and was powered by a much more powerful powertrain.
I clearly don’t have any idea how many of Indian supercar enthusiasts are fan of these beast but you can surely find the car now at Nissan’s dealership because the Japanese auto manufacturer recently launched the facelift 2017 model here. Nissan showcased the pre-facelift model at the 2016 Auto expo and it gathered plenty of interest afterall this is their flagship sportscar that is offered to the world. Nissan unveiled the 2017 updated model at this year’s New York Auto show in March.
Although the updated car hasn’t received any major change but the subtle updates made to the Godzila surely makes it more attractive and interesting.
