This car has been one important product for Audi and it is compared with some of the best Sportscars available in the World right now. The R8 Coupe was launched almost 8 Years ago back in 2007 and since then it had a great run but recently Audi decided to introduce the next generation R8 in the market because of the increasing competition and stuff their new Sportscar with the more advanced technologies and materials available at this moment like the new lightweight platform

Just few days back we all were excited when we found out a leaked image on Instagram uploaded by an user who also claimed that it was the next generation R8 but when Audi took the matter in their hands the photograph was removed from Instagram and fortunately it was a fake image. But readers don’t get disheartened because we have brought some exclusive and original images of the 2016 Audi R8 being tested on track with camouflage but we also have less camouflaged images for you too which will give you a clear idea of how the next generation R8 will look like in skin.

From the spy images it is quite clear that the new generation R8 gets a completely new front grille and more shaper headlamps, while the new R8 definitely lost some of its round curving and became more shaper which is in par with the current Audi products and their new design language; take the new Q7 SUV as an example. When it comes to interiors although there are not many clear images available yet but expects the next-gen R8 to come with an overhauled interior with many new interesting gadgets and gizmos.

When it comes to powertrain the R8 will most probably get the same engine as the current generation car which means expect the 2016 R8 to get the same 4.2 Litre V8 which will produce about 430 Hp of peak power and 430 Nm of torque while there will also be a bigger 5.2 Litre on offer which produces a healthy 525 Hp of peak power and a healthy 530 Nm of torque. However Audi will definitely retune the engines to generate more power and amount of torque while also taking care of its fuel efficiency figures.

The new generation R8 will be unveiled next month at the 2015 Geneva Motor show and we all will be witness what the German premium auto manufacturer has stored for us.
