Three completely different cars from three different auto manufacturer

We here in Topspeed are creating lists of all the cars launched last year and also number of cars launching in the coming months. We already have provided you the list of the vehicles that will be launching in the month Of January 2017. Now we are here to provide you the list of the cars that you all can expect to make their presence felt in the Indian market in the coming month of February 2017.

There is no doubt in the fact that the year 2017 will bring a revolution in the Indian market whereas in one hand we get to see plenty of new launches while on the other we also get our hands on plenty of products which are being launched in the Indian market that matches the highest global standards in terms of quality as well as safety. So this is definitely good news that the Indian customers are getting plenty of new cars which match the Global standards in terms of quality.

With that said we will witness two big launches that will take place in the month of January from two biggest auto manufacturers of all time Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki. But don’t get disheartened because if those two cars do not match your taste or budget then few other auto manufacturers have plenty more to surprise you with in the coming months as well.

HYUNDAI GRAND I10 FACELIFT

Hyundai will most probably also introduce the Grand i10 facelift in the Indian market which was recently unveiled in UK. As far as the Indian market is concerned expect the hatchback to receive the same cosmetic changes. The facelift Grand i10 has received a revised front fascia while the rear profile too gets minor updates as well. Inside things looks identical as well to the pre facelift variant however expect it to get new seat upholstery. Under the hood expect the Grand i10 to get the same 1.2 Litre four cylinder petrol engine while the diesel variant will continue with the same 1.2 Litre, three cylinder unit. The transmission duties will be carried on with the help of 5 speed manual as standard while there is also an optional 4 speed automatic offered with the petrol variant only.

Maruti Baleno RS

Maruti showcased the Baleno RS at the 2016 Auto expo, now the auto manufacturer has plans to launch the hatchback in the Indian market in the month of February 2017 and like you all already know by now it will be sold via the Nexa dealership. The car was already caught being tested on the Indian road couple of times. According to the current reports the sportier variant of the Baleno will be powered by the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine which is capable of producing an impressive 111 Hp of peak power. The gearbox details are still unknown. The RS variant will also get disc brakes on all the four wheels while expect it to also get slightly modified body kit as well which will give it a much more sportier appearance and will help it to looks different from the standard Baleno hatchback.

In terms of other equipments the Baleno RS might also get bi-Xenon headlamps with integrated DRL’s lamps. While for the safety of the passengers inside expect it to get dual airbags along with Abs and EBD as standard. Inside things will look sportier with new seats and premium upholstery and a touchscsreen SmartPlay infotainment system with navigation.

Chevrolet Beat

Although we are not yet sure at this moment but there is a possible chance that Chevrolet might introduce the new generation Beat in the Indian market towards the end of February 2017 or early March. The car was spotted being testing on road several times. While the International variant gets a new platform and new engine the Indian spec new Beat will underpin the previous generation Beat’s platform. As far as the drivetrain are concerned it will most probably get the 1.0L petrol engine which is actually a downsized variant of the 1.4 Litre four cylinder Ecotech motor. While the diesel variant will extract its power from the 1.0L TCDi unit.
