Under the new tax structure, almost all the cars have become cheaper except few which belong to the Hybrid category. However, also do keep in mind the fact that the car makers will now be able to propose a uniformed pricing across the Country. With that note, we continue with the list of 5 cars which has received the biggest price cut from the Auto manufacturers Post GST.
We start with the mighty SUV from Ford; the Endeavour has been given a price cut of almost INR. 3.47 Lakhs thanks to the new Goods and service tax structure. For all your information the Endeavour is now available in three variants and gets a 2.2 Litre and 3.2 Litre diesel unit under the hood.
Ford Endeavour’s biggest rivals at this moment in the Indian market the Fortuner too have received a massive price cut upto INR. 3.26 Lakhs depending on variants. The Fortuner currently sells in impressive numbers and is available an option of a 2.7-liter petrol and a 2.8 litre diesel units which are offered with both petrol and manual transmission.
When we are talking about these two big SUV’s how can we miss the Hyundai Tuscon SUV. Post GST the Tuscon too will now receive price cut upto INR. 2.9 Lakhs ex-showroom. The Tuscon is available 2.0 Litre petrol and a 2.0 Litre diesel engine option.
The popular Mahindra XUV500 too has received an impressive price cut of upto INR. 2.64 Lakhs depending on the variants and trims. The XUV500 is offered with 1.99 Litre unit in the markets of Delhi while in other parts of the Country the same SUV is offered with a 2.2 Litre mHawk diesel unit.
Although this is not as big as those above mentioned SUV’s this popular SUV from Renault too received a drop in price upto INR. 1.71 Lakhs. The Duster is made available in the Indian market with a 1.5 Litre petrol and 1.5 Litre diesel unit available in two different states of tune.
Renaults Duster biggest rival at this moment in the Indian market will now receive a price cut of upto INR. 1.70 Lakhs depending on the variants. The Creta is offered in the Indian market with a choice of either a 1.4 Litre or 1.6 Litre diesel or a 1.4 Litre petrol engine options. All these drivetrains are offered either with a manual or an automatic transmission.
