Recently we reported Land Rover has announced that they will be taking the covers of the 2017 Discovery at the Paris Motor show on September 28th 2016. Land Rover has already shared the first images of the Discovery and from what it looks like the SUV has taken lot of its styling inspiration from the Discovery vision concept showcased at the 2014 New York Auto show.
Quite honestly we didn’t had any idea how the interior of the new Discovery will look like but now Land Rover themselves have released a new video featuring none other than Adventurer Bear Grylls himself. In this video you can watch Land Rover showcasing Discovery’s new seat configuration technology. Using the InControl Remote app for iOS and Android smartphones the seats inside the SUV can be folded remotely from anywhere. Besides folding the seats the connected app also can provide you plenty of data as well about the SUV.
The seats can also be folded by pressing the switches provided inside the SUV’s cabin as well.
In this particular video you can actually watch adventurer Bear Grylls configure the seats of the all new Discovery while freefalling from the sky with the Royal Navy Parachute display team. This is world’s first car to get such kind of technology which allows the owner to configure the seats of their car with the help of a Smartphone.
