There is still some time for the Audi R8 V10 variant to enter the market but carscoops was able to catch the new generation mid-engine sportscar in flesh while it was refueling at a Gas station.

We would probably missed the news if the R8 did not look that gorgeous in Black, it was the beauty of this car which caught our attention. According to the source the R8 V10 will make its public debut at the LA auto show which will be held next week. The new generation R8 gets subtle changes to its exterior as well as interior but these intelligent changes have actually made the car appear even more dynamic.

Towards the front the new generation R8 gets sharper headlamps and huge hexagonal frame radiator grille which is wider and flatter and looks complete with honeycomb design. The sharper appearing headlamps also gets LED units as standard while the owners can also opt for laser headlamp units as well. The car also looks wider than the previous generation R8. Towards the rear the new R8 also gets fixed wings entirely made up of CRPF and just like the front the rear too gets dynamic turn signals as well.

Towards the rear the R8 V10 gets a 5.2 Litre V10 unit which is capable of producing about 540 ps of peak power and 540 Nm of torque. Performance wise the R8 V10 unit can accelerate from 0-100 km/h mark in just 3.5 seconds while the R8 V10 plus unit produces even more power 610 Hp to be exact and 560 Nm of torque. Both these variants come paired to a 7-speed S-Tronic twin-clutch transmission which sends s power to all the 4 wheels.
