The new age Verna loaded with modern tech and features
Hyundai released a new teaser image of the new generation Verna sedan hinting its arrival a few months ago. The South Korean Auto manufacturer introduced their popular c-segment sedan back in 2009, and it even went onto become the best-selling vehicle in its segment.
Hyundai revealed the 2018 Verna as a concept at the 2016 Beijing Auto show, while later it was launched in Russia with a different name. The new Verna sedan is called Solaris locally in Russia while the same car is sold under the Accent nameplate in Canada. Thankfully Hyundai still retains the Verna nameplate for their vehicle in India. Do not forget the fact that the Verna is important to Hyundai like the City is to Honda or the Ciaz is to Maruti. The bookings for the fifth generation sedan have already commenced in our Country about a month ago, and finally, the car is launched here.
The sedan not only underpins a new platform but is also longer wider and has an increased wheelbase which automatically results in more interior space. What is even more interesting is also the fact that the sedan not only received cosmetic updates but mechanical updates as well.
Update 22.08.2017:- Hyundai launched the new generation Verna sedan in India. The prices and other details have been updated in this review.

could this mean that Honda will perhaps be relaunching the new Civic once again?
Yes! I too have the same question in my mind. What is this new generation Civic doing at the Honda’s factory in Tapukara, Rajasthan. Now according to the reports on India today there is a possibility of Honda launching the new generation Civic in India within this year. The Civic introduced in 2006 and later discontinued in 2013 due to weak sales numbers. One of the leading causes of such poor sales figures was the lack of a diesel engine option.
Now that the new Civic was spotted recently at the Tapukara facility in Rajasthan could it mean that Honda is planning to relaunch the sedan in the Indian market once again?
The bigger engine will get an advanced 10 speed automatic transmission
Honda has released a new teaser image of their tenth generation Accord which will launch later this year. The new generation sedan according to Honda has been completely redesigned and re-engineered for the year 2018. There is no doubt in the fact that the Accord has been the number one choice for individual American car buyers since 2010.
The new generation Accord will also get two new turbocharged petrol engines in the form of 1.5 Litre, direct-injected DOHC Turbo with dual variable cam timing (dual VTC)-litre and a 2.0-litre unit. Both engines will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox Moreover the 1.5 Litre unit will also get an optional CVT gearbox, while the 2.0 Litre unit will get an advanced 10-speed automatic gearbox.
The sedan will be launched first in the US where it has been the best seller in the midsize sedan segment for four straight years (2013-2016). For the first five months of 2017, according to the Sales Data, the Accord is still the top-selling midsize sedan in America and the second best-selling passenger car overall.
Although the car has not been revealed in the images, it will get a wider and athletic stance. The additional details of the new sedan will be released within the next few weeks.

Now it’s been quite sometime now that the mid-size sedan has been launched in the Indian market while its biggest rival already received a facelift for the year 2017 now it’s time for MSIL to add their updates to the Ciaz to keep things fresh at their end.
Maruti made a bold move by deciding to sell the Ciaz via their premium Nexa dealerships. The switch will most probably take place from 1st of April
So the rumours are indeed turning out to be true. A couple of weeks ago we came to know that Maruti now has plans to sell the Ciaz sedan via their premium dealerships. Maruti launched the Ciaz back in 2014, and since then it has been sold via the regular Maruti dealerships. But recently they have decided to sell their flagship Ciaz sedan via their more premium Nexa dealerships.
What even makes the point obvious is also the fact that the Maruti has released a teaser image as well which also indicates towards that obvious switch. The Ciaz sedan was also cught using Nexa liked badges towards the rear profile while the Ciaz logo positioned towards the right side of the boot lid. The car which was caught carrying the Nexa like stickers also had the variant badges removed from the sedan. According to the recently leaked reports, the Ciaz sedan will be sold in five trim levels including the four regular NEXA variants i.e. Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha, and an entirely new S (Sport) variant sold as a top end trim.

The S-Cross facelift looks mean and aggressive
The Indian automotive scenario has been changing drastically in last few years. Indian customers are opening up toward fresh new designs, new niche. The compact SUVs and crossovers have becoming more and more popular day by day in the country like the rest of the world. In 2015 Maruti-Suzuki also tried its luck in the compact crossover segment with the S-Cross.
Now with almost two year after the launch of the model the automaker has developed a facelift version of the S-Cross. Suzuki has showcased the facelifted S-Cross in front of a selected audience in Hungary. As we got a glimpse of the car, it looks absolutely mean compare to the outgoing model. Any SUV lover wants his car to be rugged looking. And the new S-Cross looks exactly so. It can impress with its aggressive styling.
Maruti discontinued the SX4 sedan and launched the S-Cross Crossover in the Indian market. But there is no denying the fact that the S-Cross was not able to leave an impression in the minds of the India Customers. The S-Cross was then completely erased from the mind when Maruti introduced the Vitara Brezza compact SUV which was priced almost in the same range of the Crossover.
Suzuki already introduced the facelift Crossover in some other International markets already and there is a fair chance of Maruti introducing the updated Crosssover soon in India. Although there are no official words from the manufacturer yet but we have decided to provide you some new details of facelift the Crossover.

The Ciaz will be the fourth product that will be sold via the Nexa Showroom
According to the latest reports on Team-BHP Maruti will sell the new Ciaz sedan through their premium Nexa Showrooms. Although Maruti haven’t made the official announcement yet but the Ciaz sedan was recently spotted at the Nexa showroom wearing Nexa like badges.
Currently, Maruti’s newly launched Ignis Crossover, Baleno hatchback and the S-Cross Crossover are sold through their premium Nexa showrooms. The CIaz will actually be the fourth product which too will be sold via their premium dealership. Maruti will be launching the Baleno RS performance hatchback soon which will sit on top of their existing Baleno hatch and we pretty sure that it will also be sold via the Nexa showrooms as well.
The car which was photographed at the Nexa showroom gets the Ciaz moniker badge towards the left, while the SHVS sticker positioned towards the right side of the rear. What is missing through is the variant name at the rear of the sedan. All the above hints are leading to the confirmation of the Ciaz sedan will most probably be sold via their Nexa showrooms to give a rich and premium buying experience to the customers.
Maruti also has plans to launch the facelift Ciaz sedan towards the last quarter of 2017.
