2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the refreshed CLA models for the year 2016 even before its debut in New York. The updated CLA and the CLA Shooting brake models are the fourth and fifth models in the German luxury auto maker’s compact list, the other compact models includes the A, B and the GLA Class. There is no doubt in the fact that the compact models are immensely popular all over the globe and the sales of these compact cars have also reached an amazing 582,531 in 2015 which is almost 25.8% increase over the last year sales figures.
The sporty overall appeal, powerful and dynamic design and sensual rounded contours are some of the design highlights of the new CLA. Mercedes-Benz Launches 2017 CLA Class In India (Prices, Specs & Many More)
Mercedes Benz launched their most affordable luxury sedan CLA facelift in India today. The prices for this facelift sedan start at INR. 31.40 lakhs for the CLA 200 Style diesel, while the diesel CLA 200 d Sport is priced at INR. 34.68 Lakhs. The petrol 200 CLA Sport on the other hand is priced at INR. 33.68 Lakhs (ex showroom, Mumbai).
If we talk about the changes to its exterior design then the 2017 CLA facelift features a new diamond effect radiator grille, while the headlamp design remains the same but the facelift model now gets new LED daytime running lamps and also optional Multibeam LED headlamps. The other changes towards the front include a restyled bumper as well. While the side profile remains identical the rear profile now features a slightly tweaked LED taillamps while the rear bumper also has been tweaked to match the front profile.
Apart from the exterior the interior has also received minor changes as well; the instrument cluster now looks sportier with red needles inside. The materials inside has also been improved as well. The biggest change however comes in the form of a slightly bigger 8.0 inch touchscreen. This infotainment system now also gets an updated COMMAND system which comes with both Apple car play auto and Android Auto. The other comfort features that you will also find inside comes in the form of automatic headlamps, automatic climate control and also cruise control.
Mercedes Benz To Launch Facelft CLA This November 2016
Mercedes Benz is all set to introduce the facelift 2017 CLA compact sedan in India on November 30th. This will replace the existing sedan which was launched almost two years ago has definitely hit the sweet spot with its aggressive pricing and out of this world styling.
The facelift CLA has received subtle updates to both its exterior and interior and these updates looks identical to those that are found of the facelift A-Class. The updated CLA now gets LED DRL lamps which looks a lot sleeker while the low beam headlamps use projector technology while the main high beam lamp beam uses LED reflection technology. The front profile has also received a new radiator grille as well. It also gets a light weight alloy wheels as well. Towards the rear the facelift CLA gets LED taillamps which also comes with gets the automatic intensity control which actually reduces the dazzling effect for the car that follows behind.
The interior on the other hand gets seat covers. The freestanding 8 inch toucshscreen now also looks slimmer and gets a new glass cover as well. The electrically adjustable seats and the switches associated with it also gets quality upgrades. The freestanding display gets integrated with COMAND infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity features. The interior also gets new colour options as well which includes matt black ash and wood finish.
2018 Mercedes-Benz Concept X-CLASS
We all were eagerly waiting for the first premium pickup truck from Mercedes-Benz and although our Indian market is definitely not a popular market for the Pickup trucks but this could change it all. According to Mercedes this pickup truck will combine the best of both worlds. Mercedes says that this truck design resembles tough, functional, strong, and its off-road capability. These trucks obviously carry the 3 star logo and focuses on brand design, comfort and also the driving dynamics and safety at the same time.
With this product Mercedes Benz also wants to extend its vans product range and this will be the fourth model. Mercedes-Benz has plans to launch these truck in the world market towards late 2017 and it will launch under the Mercedes-Benz X-Class nameplate. Mercedes-Benz are hopeful that their new product will change the segment of Mid-Size pickups.
This mid-size truck will be based on the ladder type frame chassis and will also use a powerful six cylinder engine and also a permanent all wheel drive system as well which Mercedes thinks is compulsory for a truck. Few years ago the pickup trucks were only used for workload purpose but now they are actually also becoming a versatile vehicle for daily use. The speciality of these pick up trucks is that they can carry upto 5 occupants inside while they can also be used for some commercial purpose as well at the same time.

2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 4MATIC
Mercedes has taken the covers off the new E63 AMG and this definitely is the most powerful E Class ever built. According to Mercedes they have taken their most intelligent executive saloon and turned it into the most powerful E Class of all time. Another interesting fact is also that Mercedes has actually expanded their E Class range by introducing not one but two high performance variants available in the form of the E63 AMG and the E63 S AMG. 2016 Mercedes Benz GLA Activity Edition
Mercedes Benz India announced a special edition GLA Class for the Indian market called the Activity Edition during this festive to attract some attention. The GLA was first introduced in the Indian market back in the year 2014 and is available with both diesel and petrol engine option under its hood.
The best thing about this new Activity Edition SUV is that this is offered with a diesel engine under its hood and is also available with 4Matic four wheel drivetrain with the GLA which we are sure many of the GLA fans has been waiting for. This is the sixth SUV and the ninth product that Mercedes-Benz has launched in the Indian market in 2016.

Mercedes Introduces GLS 400 4MATIC Petrol Priced At INR. 82.90 lakh
Mercedes has introduced the petrol variant of the GLS SUV in India today. The petrol variant of the GLS will be sold alongside the diesel variant and is priced at INR. 82.90 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi).
The 7 seater full size luxury SUV will be old in the Indian market via the CBU route while the GLS 350D is locally assembled. However the best part is that there is not too much of a difference in between the petrol and diesel variant. The petrol variant was introduced in the Indian market just after 4 months Mercedes introduced the diesel variant here in India as well. With the introduction of the GLS 400 4MATIC Mercedes has completed their promise of completing their petrol portfolio ion the market.
The GLS400 is powered by 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine which is capable of producing about 333 Hp of peak power at 5,250 rpm and 480 NM of torque available in between 1600-4000 rpm. This engine is paired to a 9G-Tronic transmission which sends power to the four wheels of the SUIV via the 4Matic all wheel drive system. The SUV has a top speed of 240 km/h mark. This is the same engine which powers the Mercedes S400 as well.
Petrol Variant Of The Mercedes-Benz GLE Launched In India
Mercedes-Benz India introduced the petrol variant of the GLE today priced at INR. 74.90 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). This new variant joins the Diesel GLE 350D and the GLE 250D variant which is already on sale. The new SUV will be sold via the CBU route initially but the local assembly of this new SUV will commence towards the end of this year.
The Petrol variant of the GLE400 4MATIC which is actually the facelifted variant of the M-Class is powered by the same 3.0 Litre twin turbo V6 unit which is capable of producing about 333 Hp of peak power in between 5250-6000 rpm and an equally impressive 480 Nm of peak torque between 1,600-4000 rpm. The engine is paired to 7G-TRONIC Plus automatic transmission as standard, which sends power to all four wheels via the 4MATIC all wheel drive system.
Apart from the petrol engine the diesel engine on the Mercedes GLE250d constitutes of the 2.2L, inline 4 cylinder unit capable of producing about 204 Ps of peak power and 500 Nm of torque. The more powerful GLE350d is powered by 3.0L V6 engine which produces about 285 Ps of peak power and 620 Nm of torque. Both the engines are paired to 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission as standard.
Mercedes also has plans to launch 12 new products this year in India and they launched 7 products already which include the new GLE.

2016 Mercedes-AMG SLC 43
Only yesterday Mercedes-Benz India launched the all new SLC 43 in India which happens to be the AMG variant of the SLC Roadster. The SLC is the facelift variant of the SLK class and is a part of the new Mercedes Nomenclature. What is more surprising is also the fact that Mercedes introduced the SLK 43 just after 4 months of its International debut. Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 Launched: Few Things You Should Know About The Roadster
Mercedes Benz India has launched the new Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 in India today. This new Roadster is available in only the SLC 43 AMG variant, and is priced at INR 77.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Now before you actually get confused the SLC 43 is the facelift variant of the SLK which was avialble in the Indian market until now.
Fortunately the changes are not only stuck to the name Mercedes has actually made some serious cosmetic changes as well and as a result the facelift SLK gets completely new front face which resembles Mercedes modern design clues. If we talk about styling the front face gets a redesigned headlamps which gets dynamic LED headlamps with ILS these headlamps also gets integrated DRL’s as well as side indicators. The front section also features air intakes whose fins are finished in silver chrome and the flics in glossy black. The radiator grille also gets the AMG touch to it, while the front apron gets front splitters finished in silver chrome. Apart from the new front face the rest of the design looks similar to the SLC Roadster.
Under the hood the Mercedes- AMG SLC 43 gets the 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo engine which promises an impressive amount of torque and power output and which actually replaces the bigger 6.2 Liter V8 unit.
