How often do you actually see a Hypercar on road? In this video there is not one but actually two of the world’s finest and really fast Hypercar’s which are ready to race against each other in an open airstrip.
Autocar recently conducted a drag race between the Mclaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder which are both actually has a hybrid powertrain. These mid engine Hypercars are fast and the engine produces an enormous amount of power. However there is a twist here there is one more contender who too actually is participating in this unique drag race and that’s the new Ducati 1199 Superleggera. Now you must be thinking that the motorcycle surely weighs almost less than half of this two cars and a car although be it an extreme Hypercar like the Mclaren P1 or the Porsche 918 cannot actually compete with a motorcycle because it’s lightweight and fast. But you will actually have to wait till the end of this video to find out what actually happens next.
The Mclaren P1 actually produces 904 bhjp while the Porsche 918 produces about 875 bhp while the super exclusive Ducati Superleggera produces about 200 bhp of peak power which is really less compared to the other two beasts here.

It’s a rare sight really! Quite honestly how often do you get to watch supercar owner’s pushing their cars to the limit on an empty private airstrip?
But Evo along with Vmax200 organized an event called Evo Max where supercar owners from all over the UK were invited to push their cars to the limit and it was a massive event which took place on September 2014. There were a lot of supercars present at the event and all waiting to reach the top speed and their owners eagerly waiting for their turn to unleash their beasts on the airstrip. There were
Lamborghinis, Mclaren, Noble, Mercedes AMG’s Aston Martins, Porsches, Bentleys and believe it or not even a Ferrari La-Ferrari and last but not the least a Bugatti Veyron.
Forza Motorsport does not need any introduction especially to the gamers and they have some good news for the Forza fans out there and that is that the sequel of Forza Motorsport series which was launched back in the year 2012 developed by Playground games is coming out and this new game is called Forza Horizon 2 which will not only feature some new and exciting cars but will also eature 3 times more drivable area than the previous game.
Along with that Forza also released a video which reveals its first pack of cars and Forza is calling it ‘The Mobil 1 Car Pack’ which features 6 new cars which include the 2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, 2013 Renault Clio RS 200, 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco 16v, 1957 Maserati 300 S and the 1977 BMW M5.
This new game game will be available only on the Xbox one platform and this game features events set in the Souther Europe which means you can drive these virtual cars on the beautiful roads of Southern France and Italy and that’s amazing.
This is definitely good news for those who thinks that the premium auto and supercar manufacturer do not concentrate at all on the Asian market and rather only on the European and US marketbecaue believe it or not might the British manufacturer of luxury, high-performance sports cars Mclaren has actually tailored a product specifically for the Asian market.
This new car is called the 625 C and it is based on the 650 S which is available in the International market. Now according to Mclaren the newly developed 625 C will provide the highest level of refinement than any other Mclaren product till date. The only reason that Mclaren has focused only on the Asian market this time because of the fact that the Asian markets including China has been this British auto manufactures biggest factor of growth, they have entered the markets of China during September 2013 and within this short period of time Mclaren are positive that their sales will grow from 20 percent to more than a third in the year 2014.
Now as far as the new 625 C is concerned well! It is powered by a 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 which produces about 625PS of peak power and 610 Nm of torque. The initial ‘C’ on the 625 C mans ‘Club’ which actually according to Mclaren means easily accessible and less aggressive models unlike the P1 and the rest. This newly developed car although is less aggressive than the other Mclaren products but does not miss out when it comes to technology and power. This engine with 625 Ps on tap actually helps the car a lot when it comes to acceleration; the 625 C is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h mark in just 3.1 seconds while it has a top speed of 333 km/h mark which is quite impressive.
You all have heard about the new McLaren P1 which at present is one of the most advanced road legal cars available in the International market. The P1 uses 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 from their another car the 12C but this engine has been tuned differently and thus generates about 800 Hp of peak power, not only this McLaren has also used an electric motor with the twin turbo V8 which seperately produces an estimated 150 Hp and 500 pound-feet of torque. Thus you get a combined peak power of 903 Hp and an astonishing 1,100 pound-feet of torque. Now thats an insane amount of power.

The automobile as we know it is undergoing a revolutionary change. The Mclaren P1 is one among a few other supercars that are so complex that it took more than a century to become reality. The high-tech systems that power these modern supercars are the result of decades of development and research. One key factor that played a vital role in these cars to materialize was Formula 1.
Mclaren has been racing in Formula 1 since its early days. Formula 1 is a test bed for modern technologies and the Mclaren P1 is the result of the hard work that gone into making championship winning race cars. For 2013, Mclaren Automotive has updated the MP4-12C package with a host of changes. To the naked eye, the 2013 Mclaren MP4-12C looks no different. However, tweaks to its internals add up to an all-around improvement in both responsiveness and sportiness.
The 2013 model year MP4-12C supercar gains an extra 25 horsepower from its 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine. The additional power output does not affect over all efficiency, though. Among other concerns for both owners and those planning to buy a ’12C was the sluggish gearbox. The SSG transmission on the new model gets a software upgrade making it more responsive that before.
A unique thing about Mclaren, is that they’re offering all the recent upgrades to owners of the previous model for no additional cost. So if you already happen to own an MP4-12C then you could drop it back to Mclaren for a 25 horsepower bump and transmission software update.
All said, the 2013 Mclaren MP4-12C is based around a carbon fiber monocoque with a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive setup. The twin-turbocharged V-8 generates 625 PS and 600 Nm of torque. The MP4-12C is known for being an easy-to-drive supercar with a comforting ride and sharp handling.

Mclaren 650S is the latest entrant in the supercar market and it made a grand debut at the Geneva motor show. The 650S as many of you ‘googled’ it couple of times already is positioned just between the MP4-12C and the P1.
It shares the same 3.8 litre, V8 engine which also does duty on the MP4-12C but here it generates 650Ps of maximum power which is obviously more than the 12C(600Ps). Now here are some more interesting data it does 0-100 km/h mark in just 3 seconds and the 200 km/h mark in 8.4 seconds. Still want more? We promise you will love this car even more after hearing this it weighs only 1330 Kilograms and has a top speed of over 330 km.
This car looks different than the original MP4-12C but shares lot of its components and even styling quos from both the 12C and the P1. The change in the design has led to more downforce at high speeds which will further enhance its good handling. Mclaren is known to build some of the more advanced and sophisticated piece of machinery, there supercars are almost perfect from every sense they have a great handling, looks absolutely stunning and is fun to drive. Unlike other supercars you get a very sophisticated and comfortable cabin with quite a few numbers of interesting equipments which includes a satellite radio and navigation. It is also one of the safest car in the world and has carbon-ceramic disc brakes fitted both at its front and rear which are capable of bringing the supercar to halt quite efficiently.

The most comprehensive insight into the new Mclaren P1. Better than even Jeremy Clarkson’s review on Top Gear. Impressive! Definitely, absolutely.
If you are a petrolhead, you won’t be new to Chris Harris’ antics, the way he trashes supercar tires one after the other. A new internet sensation, Chris is probably the best anchor who speaks his mind through an unadulterated British accent and world seems to love it.
This week he reviews the Mclaren P1. A supercar which according to Chris is "the new thing". Better than the Porsche 918 Spyder and even better than the Ferrari LaFerrari, probably.
While, Mclaren is busy letting journalists drive their new supercar, Ferrari seems a left behind. The world is waiting to get a taster of the new Ferrari but for now, the Mclaren is the best supercar in the world (as proved by Chris Harris).
The Bugatti Veyron was a milestone in automotive history. The P1 however, betters the Veyron. It may not have a 1000 horsepower but it does have enough grunt to make a person like Chris squeal and moan at the wheel. The numbers are astonishing too. 916 horsepower twin-turbocharged V-8 coupled to an electric motor and a top speed of 217 mph.

Mclaren had hinted us about a supercar that would be faster than the MP4-12C but less expensive than the P1 hypercar and slower, of course. This is it. The Mclaren 650S which makes me believe that the P1 and the MP4-12C have had some intimate time together and that the 650S is the result of their mating.
I am sure you would agree with me if I say, the MP4-12C isn’t pretty and it is the same story with the new 650S. Despite the front end borrowed from the P1, the 650S looks like it was designed and created by men in Mclaren’s business and marketing department. I think, it would’ve been better if they had kept the 12C exterior and made improvements around it.
Anyway, here are the details of the new Mclaren 650S. The new car is based on the 12C but offers numerous improvements and weight saving measures. The same 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 has been carried over but in the 650S it produces 650 PS or 641 horsepower.

Ferrari rolled out the 458 Speciale and now Mclaren wants to take Maranello head on with a sharper and of course, faster version of the MP4-12C. The Ferrari 458 Speciale replaces the F430 Scuderia which was launched last year. It is lighter, more powerful and quicker than the standard 458 Italia.
The standard Ferrari 458 Italia is as sharp as a Swiss knife, however the Speciale is more of a samurai sword. There’s all kinds of aerodynamic trickery going on making it extremely agile. Bettering Ferrari’s 458 Speciale will be a tough ask. But, that does not mean folks at Mclaren are going sit quiet with their hands folded.
Oh no, they wont. Mclaren insiders close to Autocar have revealed that a 458 Speciale rival is in the making. It will based on the current MP4-12C super car. Now, the MP4-12C is as complicated as its name which is why I like to call it a bucket load of science and mathematics where the bucket is made out of carbon fiber.
Mclaren’s 458 Speciale rival has to be better than its rival and for that they would require a team of the most brilliant engineers who will probably spend the months leading up to project deadline inside the Mclaren skunkworks. The new supercar is expected to arrive in 2014, according to Autocar.
The upcoming Mclaren will probably use the same 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 tuned to 650 horsepower. The exterior styling of the new car is expected to be unique too. There is talk about a P1 inspired exterior design to debut on this high performance model.

The Mclaren MP4-12C hasn’t got the most interesting of names and neither is that good looking. Few have criticized the car for being too technical and rather too perfect. The on-board computers do come in handy whenever things go out hand, but most of the time its like being watched upon by boss man who wouldn’t let you chill out a bit.
Anyway, so the Mclaren MP4-12C is a brilliant supercar with a few not so serious drawbacks. A few tuning companies have tried their hand at wiping the serious face off the Mclaren and have done so quite successfully.
A Mclaren MP4 in Gulf Oil livery is a brainchild of Mclaren Newport Beach and I must say, it looks chuffing marvelous. The famous livery has featured on many racing cars throughout the years. The classic paint scheme was adopted at the Le Mans racing series among others.
Apart from the Gulf Oil livery wrap which was handled by Protective Film Solutions, the rest of the car is left stock. So, no fancy body kits or oversized spoilers on this one.
