As the next James Bond flick Spectre is gearing up for its launch worldwide, Jaguar Land Rover showcased the Spectre cars at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Three Spectre cars showcased in the event were – a Jaguar C-X75, which is the vehicle of choice for Mr. Hinx played by none other than the WWE Superstar Dave Bautista, who is the henchman of the villain in the movie, an extensively modified Land Rover Defender and a Range Rover Sport SVR. We have seen all these vehicles in the trailer teasers and the making videos of the latest Bond movie.
The Jaguar C-X75 is a sports car concept, which was first showcased at 2010 Paris Motor Show, but ultimately abandoned by Jaguar, for some unknown reason. In the movie Spectre, we have seen Mr. Hinx, played by famous actor David Bautista, chasing Bonds Aston Martin DB10 in this stunningly gorgeous and powerful car painted in Orange (Read and watch it here). In some other videos we have seen The Range Rover Sport SVR and two absolutely rugged looking Land Rover Defenders in a chasing scene, which were shot in Austrian Alps. In the previous Bond movie Skyfall, we have seen Naomie Harris aka Eve Monepenny driving a rugged looking Land Rover Defender during the initial action sequences.
Although various automobile manufacturers are grabbing attention of the automotive world in the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, but Jaguar Land Rover definitely steal away all the limelight with this showcase event at Palatial Thurn und Taxisin Frankfurt. Incidentally, this was the first time these spectacular vehicles were shown at some public event. After all, these are no ordinary cars; these are bespoke cars of the latest James Bond movie. Present in the event were David Bautista, who played a villainous role in the movie, and Naomie Harris, who is portraying the character of Eve Moneypenny.
Land Rover revealed a new Discovery Sport, which comes in dynamic design and better performance. The British luxury automobile manufacturer revealed the vehicle at the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show. This new car comes named as Discovery Dynamic Sports.
The new premium luxury compact SUV comes with unique design, and stylish details and colour, which make this car distinguishing from the standard model. Beside the enhanced visual appeal, this car comes equipped with features like All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC), Gesture Tailgate. The new Discovery Sport Dynamic features a number of exterior enhancements. These features include Narvik Black exterior details, body coloured mouldings and door claddings which makes this car even more muscular. The customers get a choice of an unique new 19 inch wheel design which comes in Satin Dark Grey, or a 20 inch Gloss Black wheel. The interior of the car comes in new impressive colours and detailing, the new Dynamic design option creates a powerful and striking impression.
Apart from luxury Land Rover vehicles are known for their sheer off roading capability. The off roading capability of the Discovery Sport Dynamic is heightened by the introduction of All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) for 2016. ATPC is an advanced system which enables drivers to set and maintain a steady speed during off road driving. Developed by the Land Rover’s all terrain specialists, ATPC functions similarly to a cruise control system, and it is operational between 2 kmph and 30 kmph. The ATPC system adapts the vehicle’s behaviour according to the terrain, allowing even the novice users the control of an expert off road driver. ATPC also sports a dedicated Launch feature, which allows the vehicle to pull away smoothly and easily, even on critically low friction surfaces like ice, snow or wet grass.
Land Rover is making a lot of news in the Global market recently. First, it was the launch of the 9-speed Evoque followed by the introduction of their first Hybrid and the update for the Land Rover Discovery recently and, now, they have announced the updates for the 2014 Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. Both the Range Rovers not only get minor cosmetic updates but also will be stuffed with state-of-the-art features and a new engine added under their hoods. They will be showcased in metal at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto show. What is even more interesting is that the upgraded models will be available to order from 10th September, with deliveries starting from early 2014 onward.

Land Rover has recently revealed a complete new variant of the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport, online. The main selling point of the two is the hybrid power that offers the best of both worlds. Both these SUV’s are powered by the same diesel engine coupled to a new electric motor, promising greater fuel efficiency and low emissions. Land Rover will show them off in metal at the upcoming Frankfurt motor show.
