The Lamborghini Miura which was launched back in the year 1966 was known for its big V12 unit and the bodywork to die for. The car was designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone. This was a two seater and it was one of the fastest production cars of that era. If that didn’t made you happy then this surely will, the performance figures of the Miura was something like this, it was able to kiss the 100 km/h mark from standstill in just 6.7 seconds and the one of a kind Lamborghini was able reach a top speed of 280 km/h mark which might even put some new age sportscars to shame.
Unfortunately the Miura had only seen a short production run. While the first car came out of the factory line in 1966, the production was halted in 1969 and only 475 units of this sporstcar was produced within that time period. Fortunately the story did not ended there Lamborghini later also launched the Miura S which generated more power than the standard production car and then a SuperVeloce variant of the car as well was launched later which produced an impressive 385 Hp of peak power. at that time
