The Huracan definitely is the best selling car of the Lamborghini lineup
Don’t get me wrong if I say that in the next few years the Huracan will become the top selling model in the Lamborghini lineup replacing their favourite now discontinued Gallardo. The Italian Sports car manufacturer recently rolled out chassis number 8,000, from their assembly line in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
Lamborghini introduced the Huracan back in 2014 as a replacement for their popular model Gallardo. Initially, Critics gave mixed reaction about this new Italian beauty and even raised doubts about its credibility. But as things settled the Huracan soon became favourite car amongst many automotive enthusiasts and even went on to replace the Gallardo and became the new wall poster for many.
Believe it or not within just three years of its launch Lamborghini already sold 8000 units of the Huracan almost reaching half way mark of its predecessor. Lamborghini was able to sell a total of 14, 022 units of the Gallardo since its launch which makes the Huracan the largest selling car in the Lamborghini history automatically.
Currently, the Huracan is available in five variants which include both coupe and spyder body style. There is also a wild Huracan Performante variant as well which is best suited for tracks. The entire Huracan range gets a 5.2 Litre V10 unit as standard. Available in three states of tune the V10 unit puts out about 510, 610 or 630bhp respectively depending on the variants. The Huracan can also opt in both rear wheel as well as an all-wheel drive option as well.
The car was tuned by underground racing find out how much power did it generated
At a recently held event, UNDERGROUND RACING’S Lamborghini Huracán set a new world speed record at 247.25 MPH / 397.91 km/h. Now this record was achieved by the Huracan in a 1/2 Mile track which is insane. Earlier this year a Ford GT hit a top speed of 472 km/h in a 1.6 km stretch of tarmac while the Lamborghini Huracan has dared to touch nearly 400 km/h mark in a much lesser distance.
We all know that Lamborghini Huracan is a fast accelerating machine and it can do speeds of 0-100 km/h mark in just 3.2 seconds while the sportscar can reach a top speed of 325 km/h mark. Obviously, the Huracan which set this new World record was not exactly a stock car. Underground Racing-tuned the White Huracan which you see in this video stretching its wings. It is one of the first twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 of this planet. The tremendous feat was achieved with a little boost from the twin turbochargers which provided some boost that was controlled by the Tuners proprietary JRR MoTeC M1 electronics and firmware and also by the correct use of gears of the DCT transmission which comes with additional horsepower.
If you ask about power, then this twin turbocharged Huracan LP610-4 produces about 1200 Hp with the 93 Octane fuel while the same engine pumps out a humongous 2200+ Hp of peak power with the special race gas.
Watch the brutal acceleration of the Lamborghini Huracan in this video and do leave your comment below.

Now the official details of the engine are not out yet, but it will use the same 5.2 Litre V10 unit which powers the standard Huracan. However, just like the Aventador S and the SV model the Performante variant will also receive a slightly more boost in the power figures with some tweaks made to the engine and aerodynamics. Expect the Huracan Performante variant to produce atleast 30-40 Bhp more power.
Now, the Huracan Performante features Active aerodynamics which according to the Supercar manufacturers term is called ‘Aerodynamica Lamborghini Attiva’. Huracan Performante with its Active aerodynamics gets two flaps on either side of the rear wings which creates maximum downforce on the rear tyres while turning left or right at high speeds and also during cornering. The entire video was shot on the Nurburgring, and the reports also suggest that the new car was able to set a new lap record as well. The car will also get a new feature called "Aereodinamica Lamborghini Attiva."
Now, don’t get confused with the term because the new name is basically an advanced active aerodynamic system. The Coupe gets plenty of new aerodynamics on the front splitter and also a new rear wing. These are exclusively available with this new performance-oriented version of the car and thus won’t be available with the standard model.
Apart from the Active aerodynamics, the bull will also actually shed around 40 kilograms from the original variant, courtesy the new forged composite body materials.
