The same Aventador with more power and improved aerodynamics

Lamborghini’s most aggressive car definitely has to be the Aventador which was introduced as a replacement for the Murcielago back in 2011. The car has received plenty of variants and special edition since then takes the Aventador LP and also the LP 700-4 Roadster for example.

Now this aggressive Aventador Coupe has received its updates for the year 2017 and the good news is the updates are not limited to cosmetics but it has received some mechanical changes as well under the skin. Apart from all that the car still retains the same 6.5 Liter V12 unit from the Aventador. However the new car gets some power upgrades which actually makes things slightly more interesting while the seven-speed automated manual transmission and all-wheel-drive system are carried over from the Aventador.

According to Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stefano Domenicali, this is the next generation Aventador which very well helps in expressing their newest technology and other performance milestone. He also explains that the new car will help in elevating the entire concept of super sports car to a completely new level.

What will do, if you are sitting behind the wheel of a gorgeous Lamborghini Aventador? Well, we assume you might take the car for a scorching track ride or you can burn the highways or even you can cruise through the city traffic and grab lots of appreciating curious eyes. But, certainly you wouldn’t want to take this car for a bumpy off roading drive, will you?

It looks somewhere in Middle East and as you know plenty of people there spend enormous amount of money behind expensive cars. But as it seems, some people might have a little brain for driving knowledge. Probably that is why; this guy was driving this exotic car in the desert sand, like it is a 4x4 SUV out there. Lamborghini Aventador 50th Anniversario Catches Fire In Dubai: Video

Yet another Lamborghini catches fire and is completely destroyed. The latest incident happened yesterday in Dubai. And the car in question is a limited edition Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario.

The incident happened yesterday at the Dubai Marina and soon pictures and videos started popping up online. Fire fighters could not stop the blaze on time. The car suddenly caught fire just like the Gallardo which caught fire in Delhi recently.

The supercar was launched by Lamborghini in 2013 to celebrates its 50th anniversary. It has been limited to only 200 cars. 100 of them are coupes while the rest are roadsters. Sadly there is 1 less now.

The roadster is powered by a 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 720 hp and 690 Nm of torque. The power generated is 20 more than the standard Aventador. The engine is mated to a 7-speed gearbox and power is sent to all four wheels. The car accelerates from a stand still to a 100 kmph in 2.9 seconds and it goes on to a top speed of 350 kmph.

The exterior of the car gets small cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the regular car and it also gets a new unique custom paint job. The changes on the inside include a semi-aniline leather upholstery.

The car costs USD $548000. Lamborghini should investigate why the car caught fire and rectify the problem if it is found in other 50th anniversary edition cars.

2015 Lamborghini LP 750-4 Superveloce

2015 Lamborghini LP 750-4 Superveloce

If you love exotic Italian supercars, speed and powerful engines, then you will definitely love Lamborghini. Their current lineup consists of the recently introduced Huracan which also happens to be the successor of their most popular car ever produced the Gallardo, while the other car is offcourse the Aventador which happens to be the ‘Big Daddy’ of their lot.

Seriously, you don’t really want to mess with this car because not only it packs lot of punch but it definitely looks wild and ready for its prey. Now what if I tell you that Lamborghini loves to push things too far and also becomes successful everytime, their SV badged cars are some of the finest examples of that. It all started with the Miura then with the Diablo and later the torch was handed over to the Aventador.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce was announced at the 2015 Geneva Motor show and this car featured an upgraded powertrain and improved styling. No this is not just a sticker work but a completely different car which is at its best when driven on track but performs equally well when driven on tarmac. That is perhaps the beauty of Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce or better if I say Lamborghini engineering.

This mid-engine supercar is powered by one beast of an engine, while all the other auto manufacturers are reducing their engine sizes and pushing their engines to produce maximum power so that they don’t actually feel underpowered, this Italian supercar manufacturer is still sticking to the concept of big engines and even bigger power. So for that particular reason the Aventador LP750-4 is still powered by the V12 unit, which actually is the most powerful V12 engine that Lambo ever produced. This engine is capable of producing about 750 Hp of peak power which is about 50 Hp more than what the standard Aventador produces while it also weighs less than the standard Coupe. All these translate to one thing More Power and Acceleration. That is the beauty of any Lamborghini.

The Epic Nurburgring Lap Of Aventador SV: Video

If you are willing to waste 2.29 minutes of your life then please watch the whole video and you will witness something extraordinary that happened only few days ago. Lamborghini the supercar maker from Italy has set a new record lap time with their ultimate machine in one of the toughest and punishing race track of the world the Nurburgring which is located in Germany and which also has witnessed many historical races with both success as well as failures over the past 90 years.

In this video you can watch the Lamborghini Aventador SV sets a new lap time record of 6:59.73 minutes which itself is a new world record because before that only three other cars was able to conquer the “the green hell” in under 7 seconds which included the Radical SR8, the SR8 LM and the Porsche 918 Spyder.

This lap time record was successfully conquered by Lamborghini’s Aventador SV which was unveiled recently at the 2015, Geneva Motor show for the very first time. Powering the Aventador SV is a 6.5 Litre V12 unit which is capable of producing an impressive 750 Hp of peak power and 690 NM of torque. All those power and torque are then transferred to all the 4 wheels of this super Coupe with the help of a seven speed single-clutch Independent Shifting Rod gearbox. When it comes to performance I am sure that is all smiles because the Lamborghini Aventador SV can hit the 0-100 km/h target in just 2.8 seconds while this Coupe has a top speed of about 350 km/h mark.

Coming to its Nurburgring performance the Aventador SV was slower than the Porsche 918 Spyder by only about 3 seconds. However that was not even the standard 918 Spder because it came with the Weissach Package.

The recent sportscars now is not all about raw power and acceleration but they are also about intelligence and the implantation of all the modern technologies. Lamborghini introduced the Aventador which was the replacement of Murcielago which also was Lamborghini’s flagship model for the past 10 years. The Aventador surely impressed the crowd with its unlimited power and performance and not to forget its unmatched styling. Powered by a 6.5 Litre V12 unit this Supercar produces about 515 KW of peak power at 8,250 rpm and 690 NM of torque at 5500 rpm.

The Aventador is fast and has the capability of reaching a top speed of 350 km/h while it is also one quick accelerating vehicle and can touch the 100 km/h mark from standstill in just 2.9 seconds. Recently Lamborghini launched the Aventador SV at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show. The Aventador SV is the limited edition car which uses the SV badge which was used with the Miura in the late 1960’s and 70’s, this special edition car is powered by the same V12 powerplant unit, but this unit has been further developed and pushed to produce more power and as a result the same engine chunks out about 552 Kw (750 Hp) at 8400 rpm and same torque output of 690 Nm at 5500 rpm. The car uses the same 7 speed ISR transmission.

Although one may not be impressed by the amount of power it produces but wait till you hear that the Aventador SV weighs almost 50 Kilograms less than base Aventador and all that was possible because of the use of heavy amount of Carbon fiber in the body. Lamborghini already uses a Carbon fiber monocoque with aluminium front and rear frames but Lamborghini went a step further and have used carbon-fiber door panels, a fixed rear wing and also fixed air intake on the Super Veloce version, this Lamborghini has also used weigh reduction measures inside the cabin too, all these weight saving measures has helped this already fast car to become even faster.

Video: Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce Features

Video: Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce Features

In this video you can watch the Lamborghini Aventador SV features explained by none other than Filippo Perini who is actually the head of design.

He explains that from the very beginning they were focused on only one thing and that is to increase maximum downforce which is a must have before creating a beautiful sportscar. Now as the name suggests the Aventador SV is based on the Aventador and their main focus was to reduce weight and as already mentioned above increase downforce and for that Lamborghini has actually a fitted a huge rear wing which actually can change positions, it also has a huge diffuser at the rear, the car definitely looks aerodynamic and has large vents towards the rear also to keep the engine cool.
You can also notice huge air ducts beside the engine bay to pass air and keep the engine cool.

The Aventador SV also has been fitted with forged rims in order to save weight, towards the front the car also uses lots of carbon fiber in order to reduce weight and the main motive behind the front styling too was to reduce the increase the downforce and make it equivalent with the downforce of the rear to maintain the overall balance of the car. The car uses a huge number of carbon fiber parts inside the cabin also along with Alcantara.

This mid engine car uses a 6.5-litre V12 unit which produces about 740bhp of peak power which is almost 50 BHp more than the standard car. As a result this car can hit the 0-100 Km/h mark in 2.8 seconds.

Lamborghini Aventador SV Caught Without Camouflage Before Its Official Unveiling (Spy Images)

The Lamborghini Aventador needs no introduction and so is the SV variant. The relation between Lamborghini and the SV badge is not new and it started all the way back with the Miura in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, the SV variant definitely packed more power than the standard cars from the same engine even back then. However recently the SV badged Diablo then the Murcielago did leave quite a stir in the auto market as well as amongst the auto enthusiast mostly because of their wicked looks and all that power.

This New Year the responsibility of carrying the hardcore Super Veloce (SV) badge came on the shoulders of the Aventador. Recently the Aventador SV was caught without camouflage and it definitely looks much more aggressive than the standard Aventador. Towards the front the SV variant received a new front carbon fiber nose completed with a carbon fibre splitter; this will improve the Aventador’s SV’s downforce and also its dynamics and handling characteristics. The side profile does not have any significant changes except the stylish set of wheels. While towards the rear you cannot miss the huge rear spoiler which too will help increase its downforce. While there are some few other sigfnificant touches like the quad exhaust and also a race inspired splitter definitely helped in increasing the styling quotient of the car. The SV badges are also present towards the Black side intakes and side skirts. Although the interiors are not revealed from the images but except some high quality leather bucket seats and lot of SV badging.

“Magnifico” means Magnificent in Italy perhaps this is exactly the word that you will utter when you take a look at it; it is absolutely flawless and meant for pure fun and is definitely not for the faint hearted. Yes! I am talking about the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster. This beast has really set its standard quite high in the world of open-top luxury super sports cars.

Launched at the end of the year 2012 this has definitely marked its arrival but if you are looking for a practical car then this is definitely not for you because this car is an absolute hooligan. The Aventador Roadster is the open top version of the mighty Aventador Coupe which too has marked its grand arrival in the year 2011 and according to Lamborghini it juggles ultimate driving experience with the ultimate in sports car sophistication quite efficiently.

The Aventador Roadster is powered by a centrally located 6.5 liter aspirated V12 which generates 700 hp of maximum power and is mated to an ISR 7-speed gearbox. 700 Hp of power is what you get when you just seat inside and turn on the ignition of this roadster. To give you an actual idea of its power let’s just say the Aventador Roaster is capable of hitting 0-100 km/h mark in just 3.0 seconds and can reach a top speed of 350 km/h mark. It has a full carbon fiber Monocoque chassis and hardtop which makes it extremely lightweight (1625 Kilograms) and also enhances its handling.

Now the most interesting part of it is that the Aventador Roadster is available in the Indian market. So if you are a Lamborghini fan and can afford one then you can easily get your hands on one of these beasts.
