The facelift Indian spec Creta might take some inspiration from the soon to be launched Brazilian spec Creta

Hyundai Brazil has recently teased the Brazilian spec Creta on their website. The reports state that the compact SUV will be unveiled at the 2016 Sao Paolo Auto show which will commence from November onward.

The Creta was already launched in the Indian market and India is also the first market to use the ‘Creta’ nameplate as well. In India, the compact SUV is quite popular and is made available with both petrol as well as diesel drivetrains under its hood. Quite honestly the Creta with its loaded exterior and interior not only gives some tough competition to the Renault Duster but also to the Mahindra XUV500 which is priced slightly higher than the SUV.

As far as the Brazilian spec Creta is concerned this compact SUV will be manufactured at Piracicaba plant in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After it’s unveiling in November the car will go on sale in the Brazilian market early 2017. However the reason why we are interested in this particular SUV is because of the fact that this will also make it to the Indian market as well sometimes in mid-2017 as a facelift model. Although not much details are available at this moment but we have updated this article with all the information.

The Korean auto manufacturer in India Hyundai has been doing well lately in India with some of their latest products like the Elite i20, or the Eon and even the Grand i10. The company has a lot of offerings to counter-attack almost every segment available in the market today. Currently the vehicle revealed is only made available in the sprouting Chinese market where the demand of such products is going beyond imagination but it was clear that Hyundai will surely target Indian market as well and recently after a lot of testing it was finally revealed in the Indian market. Hyundai also revealed the name of the compact SUV and this SUV will be called the ‘Creta’ which also happens to be the largest Greek Island situated in the Mediterranean Sea.

Surely, this new SUV looks good and also will be made available with the choices of single petrol and 2 diesel engine options, besides being fuel efficient the Creta drivetrain are also powerful as well. For driving pleasure it also gets an automatic transmission beside the manual transmission. The only thing which is bit disappointing is the fact that the new Creta is only offered with front wheel drive.
