Aston Martin has taken all the risk and played it big this time, atleast that is what comes to your mind when you actually look at the all new DB11. This thing looks insane and what is appears Aston Martin has actually lifted this car straight from the future James Bond movie set. The DB11 promises to combine the best of latest technologies available at this moment along with an exception design and a powerful engine.

So in short the new Aston Martin DB11 which will replace the existing DB9 underpins a completely new aluminum structure which will also support the future Aston Martin cars, an all new 5.2 Litre, twin turbocharged, V12 unit which is capable of producing an impressive 600 Hp of peak power, an aerodynamic exterior body shell and all the luxury that one actually searches for in a car of this stature. To be frank Aston Martin although competes with the Lamborghini, Ferrari in this segment but they never actually competed in the sheer performance space, instead their reputation is built entirely on elegance, quality of refinement and luxury which they are able to pack inside their each and every car.

Although the 600 Hp might not sound much in today’s standards especially when we think about its rivals but the car’s overall design and its ultra luxurious interiors surely can impress even the strictest critic. There is no doubt that the new DB11 can throw all the punches and kicks at its enemies but does not actually miss its rich British Accent either.

Update 11.10.2016:- Aston Martin launched the DB 11 in India and we have updated the price in this review

This is not an unknown fact that Lamborghini designers are always inspired by fighter jets and they have actually also borrowed lot of technological details including the aerodynamics and even design solutions from all these powerful machines which rules the skies. A good example of Lamborghini’s inspiration from fighter jets comes in the form of the new digital instrument cluster controls located just in the central console as you will find in most of the airline cockpits. Apart from that even the Red engine start button in the Huracan is actually also inspired from a fighter jet cockpit. Even the exterior lines and some other matt exterior finishes are also inspired from the mean machines with wings.

Now coming to the Huracan LP-610-4 Avio, this is actually the first special edition car which joins the Huracan lineup, the other car which actually evolved from the Huracan includes is the race spec LP620-2 Super Trofeo, the gorgeous LP610-4 Spyder and the recently introduced LP580-2. Mclaren Automotive has debuted the 570GT its newest addition to the Sports Series in Geneva. The supercar is essentially a 570S with more emphasis paid to everyday usability and comfort over long distances. The car is priced in the UK from £154,000 (INR 1,45,98,105) onwards.

At first glance the 570GT does not seem to differ much from its sibling the 570S, and that is probably due to the fact that it has the same front end. The similarities begin to fade away as the view progresses from the sides to the rear. The standard fixed panoramic sunroof and the side-opening rear hatch being the highlights. The leather-lined Touring Deck behind the seats can hold an additional 220 litres of luggage. This space can be accessed through the rear glass hatch and when combined with the 150 litres of luggage space upfront gives a total storage capacity of 370 litres. The posterior also comes with an extended fixed spoiler, with McLaren claiming that it gives the same aerodynamic performance as that generated by the flying buttresses of the 570S.

McLaren says that the 570GT has been equipped with the “latest technologies and highest quality materials”. They have equipped the supercar with extended leather upholstery, electrically adjustable heated seats with memory function, electric steering column, soft-close doors, subdued exhaust system and, front and rear parking sensors as standard fitment. Noise damping and absorbing materials have also been employed extensively to improve the refinements level inside the cabin. An 8-speaker McLaren Audio Plus system is fitted as standard but for those who want more, there is an optional Bowers & Wilkins 12-speaker audio system.

The 2016 Geneva Motor Show set the stage for the world debut of the first SUV to come out from the house of Maserati. Named Maserati Levante, the SUV is claimed to give the sporty character expected from the brand with good off-road credentials as well.

As is tradition, this Maserati is named after a warm Mediterranean wind that is notorious for changing from a light breeze to a strong wind in seconds. The company says that this also reflects the character of their SUV. The Levante is based on the same architecture as the Ghibli and Quattroporte but has been modified to suit the nature of the vehicle.

The Maserati Levante has a good road presence mainly due to the eight-slat chrome grille, slim headlamps, large air intakes, long bonnet, flared wheel arches and muscular haunches. Adding further appeal to the body are the wraparound tail lights, swooping roofline, the signature ‘tri-vents’ on the front fender, Trident logo on the C-pillar and quad exhausts.

On the inside, Maserati has lavished the SUV with premium soft-touch materials, spacious cabin and even more functionality. The sense of space is enhanced by the panoramic electric sunroof, while the high-quality feel is added with the use of premium leather and optional Ermenegildo Zegna silk. Onboard connectivity is taken care of by an evolved version of Maserati’s Touch Control system that can be viewed through an 8.4-inch capacitive screen.

Purist's Dream: Porsche 911 R unveiled at 2016 Geneva Motor Show

Porsche has unleashed the 911 R at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The sports car offers all the drama of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS in a classic design package that appears restrained, as in the proverb “Wolf in Sheep’s clothing”. This special edition is limited to 991 units with a focus on “lightweight construction, maximum performance and unfiltered driving experience.”

The exterior of the car is an amalgamation of the Carrera and GT3 models; finished in white colour that is accentuated with red stripes as a nod to its heritage. The unique design elements of the body are a redesigned front spoiler lip, Porsche logos on the sides and a retractable rear spoiler along with an R model-specific diffuser.

The Porsche 911 R is a lesson in weight savings. With an overall weight of just 1,370 kg it is currently the lightest 911 in the range and is even slimmer by 50 kg compared to the 911 GT3 RS. This has been achieved by utilizing carbon for the bonnet and wings, magnesium for the roof and lightweight plastic for the rear windscreen and side windows. On the inside, further weight-reduction measures like reduced insulation, rear bench seat delete and removal of air conditioning and radio systems are also implemented.

The race-oriented interior is seen with carbon full bucket seats with fabric upholstery in Pepita tartan design. Many R-specific parts such as sports steering wheel, short gearshift lever and clutch pedal also make their way into the cabin. The exclusivity of this model is conveyed through an aluminium badge affixed on the front passenger side which displays the number of this limited edition.

At the Porsche pavilion at ongoing Geneva Motor Show 911 R took the centre stage. It is their tribute to a 1967 model wearing the same badge. The most interesting fact lies somewhere else. When Porsche launched the 911 GT3 with PDK transmission, many petrolheads complained against it. The sharply quick transmission delivers amazing performance, but gives no pleasure of driving to the purists. Now Porsche took a note of it and developed a more road centric version of 911 GT3 with a manual transmission.

Although the German sportscar maker has declared that the 911 GT3 won’t get a manual transmission anymore, but finally they built a GT3 with a manual gearbox, christened as 911 R. Surprisingly, it took Porsche designers and engineers one year to develop and build this amazing car. Being a special edition car it will be built in less than 1000 units, and the pricing is expected to higher than the GT3 RS, which is the range topper.

Ever heard of a car which gets sold before the car is unveiled officially? Well, if it’s a Lamborghini special edition with only 40 units to be built, then you should not be surprised at all.

In 1960 when an Italian Tractor builder Ferruccio Lamborghini bought a 250 GT, but found it dissatisfying. He took the matter directly to Enzo Ferrari, but his complaint was dismissed rudely by the Ferrari founder. From this point Ferruccio Lamborghini started a new chapter of history, which is called Lamborghini.

In his birth centenary in 2016 Lamborghini has built a special edition supercar to pay tribute to their founder. Significantly named as Centenario the car made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2016. Only 40 units of the car are to be built, 20 coupe and 20 roadster versions, and as Lamborghini claims, all the units were already sold prior to the debut.

In his presentation speech at Geneva Motor Show Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann has said, “The Centenario is a car that perfectly combines tradition and innovation. It looks to the future while honouring the legend that is Ferruccio Lamborghini.” He also said, “It is the most fitting tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini in his centenary year: a man, who created an exceptional brand, believed that anything was possible, and produced extraordinary, iconic cars. The Centenario is a super sports car for Ferruccio Lamborghini and the future he and we believe in today.”

Let’s take a look at the most powerful car Lamborghini has ever built.

Skoda VisionS concept has made its world premiere at the ongoing 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The concept is a study that previews the design of upcoming SUVs from the Czech manufacturer.

The VisionS is finished in an Island-Green colour and is the first Skoda to come with six seats in a three-row configuration. The SUV has a sleek, angular design with an imposing front end which Skoda claims is inspired by Bohemian crystal art and Czech cubism. At the tape, the concept measures 4.70 meters long, 1.91 meters wide and 1.68 meters tall; the wheelbase is a good 2.79 meters. Volkswagen’s Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform forms the basis of this concept.

Not much has been revealed about the interior, except that the cabin will feature large displays for all passengers thereby providing “optimum vehicle and infotainment services”.

The design study is a hybrid powered by a total of three engines – one petrol and two electric motors. The gasoline unit is a 1.4-litre TSI producing 115 kW (156 hp) / 250 Nm of torque, this works alongside an electric unit generating 40 kW (54 hp) and 220 Nm of torque. Both these engines power only the front wheels whereas the rear wheels get drive from a electric motor having output figures of 85 kW (114 hp) / 270 Nm. Both the axles are powered independent of each other and are not mechanically connected, essentially making the VisionS a four-wheel drive vehicle. Transmission of choice is a 6-speed dual-clutch unit. Power for the electric motors is sourced from a 12.4 kWh battery positioned in front of the rear axle.
