The rebadged SUV will be Mahindra’s flagship offering for the Indian market
It seems like Mahindra now wants to enter deeper water and according to the recent reports the home grown auto manufacturer are now planning to launch a completely new SUV. Their upcoming SUV will also be their flagship offering and will be positioned above their current SUV offering the XUV500.
The all new SUV will be the production variant of the next generation Rexton which was showcased as LIV-2 concept at the 2016 Paris Motor show. Codenamed as Y400 the SUV showcased was actually a full sized SUV. The new SUV which was showcased was the next generation Rexton but the production variant will be rebadged and sold with the Mahindra nameplate in India. The new SUV will be based on body on frame chassis and will provide seating for 7 passengers inside.
The reports also states that M&M also plans to gain more advantage over the other SUV’s of its segment by equipping the SUV with best in class features. The LIV2 concept which was showcased at the Paris Motor show was equipped with plenty of premium features like a huge infotainment screen on the dashboard which gets plenty of features like Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There are different screens for the rear seat passengers as well and through the rear console the passengers can even control the front infotainment system as well. The concept variant was equipped with captain seats; some other features might also include mood lighting inside the cabin.
The Japanese spec Wagon-R surely looks interesting and gets plenty of interesting updates
Recently the images of the Japanese spec Suzuki Wagon-R leaked online , the images quite clearly reveals the new model and details and also gives all of us an idea about what the new generation Wagon-R will look like. Although this is the Japanese spec model and thus the overall styling looks like some typical Japanese small car. However expect the Indian spec variant to take some serious styling inspiration from the Japanese spec hatchback.
There is no doubt that the Wagon-R is definitely one of the most sold hatchbacks of the Country. The car is popular for its tall boy styling which helps in providing enough room for the passengers inside. Now according to the recent reports Maruti Suzuki also has plans to introduce the next generation Wagon-R in India towards the end of this year or early 2018.

Maruti-Suzuki Swift is a very popular compact hatchback in India, since its launch in the country. This is also one of the most sold cars from Maruti-Suzuki’s stable. With the growing competition in the compact hatchback segment from Hyundai, Fiat Maruti-Suzuki is now eyeing a makeover for the Swift. Recently spyshots of the 2017 Maruti-Suzuki Swift from a dealer’s conference has surfaced in web world. Although the images we have seen are of Swift Sport, but it surely gives us the preview of the new generation Swift.
The Swift looks absolutely gorgeous in its new avatar. Unlike the outgoing model the new 2017 model looks aggressive, stylish and sporty despite containing the same DNA from the outgoing model. No wonder, this can be the next star in the Indian compact hatchback segment. The new Swift comes with several changes at the exterior and interior as well.

Could this be the new generation Aventador,..
It looks like Lamborghini is all set to introduce a new car to their exciting product lineup. Oh no! It is definitely not a fake news neither we are trying to surprise you all. Lamborghini recently dropped a new teaser video on their official You Tube channel.
The short teaser video kept all of us wondering what Lamborghini is upto now and specially those last few lines “What will be next?”. The teaser video gave us some hint that whatever it is be it the facelift Aventador (the old car featured in the video) or the slightly more powerful and sportier variant of the Aventador, it will definitely be powered by the perhaps slightly more updated Lamborghini V12 powertrain.
Now we assume that this car will be unveiled soon because we are just only few more weeks away from the biggest car event of the New Year, The North American International Auto show. Now we are still not sure that weather is there any chance of Lamborghini unveiling this new car at that show but this new teaser surely looks interesting.
If you actually ask us perhaps this could be the new generation Aventador which might come with an updated V12 powertrain.
The car will make it presence felt in India on the second of 2017 or early 2018
We all know by now that Suzuki is working on a new generation Swift which will make its debut in the year 2017. This new generation model will replace the current generation model globally We have all seen the Swift in disguised form couple of time but for the first time ever we were able to view the undisguised image of the upcoming hatchback for the first time.
We actually all saw the rendering of the new generation hatchback in March and the undisguised image of the Swift looks almost like the leaked rendering image.
The new generation hatchback will be completely different from the existing hatchback and besides all the new features this will also be based on a completely new aluminium platform which is lightweight and also supports the new Baleno hatchback.
Coming to the styling it is quite clear from the images that the new generation Swift hatchback gets more aggressive and sharper styling. The front profile has received projector headlamps, hexagonal mesh grille with chrome garnish surrounding it. The rear bumper also looks completely new and houses new fog lamps. The side profile gets diamond cut alloy wheels and also side turn indicators integrated on the ORVM’s. Expect the Swift hatchback to also be bigger and wider than the current generation hatchback.

Hyundai officials now actually have decided to officially launch the production variant by 2019. The reports also suggest that Hyundai has already started working on their new sub 4 meter SUV. Codenamed QXi, this compact SUV when launched will be positioned below the Creta and will take on the Ford Ecosport, Vitara Brezza and the upcoming Tata Nexon SUV.

3 new variants for 3 completely different segments!
Renault surely made significant improvements in the Indian auto market in the recent year courtesy their two really popular products. The French automaker introduced the Duster compact SUV back in 2012 and it won plenty of hearts with its compact size and fuel efficient drivetrains and above all aggressive pricing. Now although there are plenty of other compact SUV’s available as well but there is no denying the fact that the Duster actually started the trend for compact SUV’s in India.
After the Duster Renault introduced their second most popular product KWID back in 2015 which was actually an entry level hatchback offering but the small car was designed cleverly to look like a crossover. This was something totally new for this segment which made entry level customers go weak on their knees. Not only the hatchback looked different than its rivals but it also offered plenty of new features such as a digital instrument cluster and a toucshscreen infotainment system which were segment first. Powering the hatchback was also a completely new drivetrain as well.
The KWID actually is also based on a new CMF-A platform which was developed by Renault and Nissan. Renault has also done some cost cutting as well to price it aggressively and in par with its rivals.
At the 2016 Auto Expo Renault has showcased two new concepts based on the KWID hatchback and reports are that Renault actually has plans to bring them into production and launch it in the Indian market in the next couple of years. What do we know so far
There is no denying the fact that the Santro hatchback is that one car which has helped Hyundai to establish them as a brand in India. The car became so popular that it even challenged the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Alto. The small hatchback was introduced in 1998 and was actually phased out in 2014. Although Hyundai tried to replace it with a better and much more premium looking hatchback i10 but it definitely did not achieved what the Santro has achieved in its 16 year career.
Now according to current reports Hyundai has decided to relaunch the new generation Santro which will actually be positioned above the Eon and will replace the i10 available in the Indian market. Now although the car was not yet spotted being tested on road but expect it to be bigger, more premium and obviously will get a more powerful and improved engine which will also be fuel efficient at the same time. Some reports on the internet also suggest that Hyundai has already started on their upcoming hatchback.

It is not too long not to remember all the hypes around the Hyundai Creta. The stylish compact SUV launched in India last year made quite an impression in the Indian automobile industry. Just before the launch Hyundai received more than 20000 bookings for Creta. Compact SUVs are the new found love of this country’s automobile buyers. More and more automakers are bringing their compact SUVs in Indian market, and the competition is rising to present us none but some stunning looking upmarket higher standard cars.
Next to Creta two gorgeous SUVs set to enter the Indian market and impress us are Hyundai Santa Fe facelift and the Hyundai Tucson. The Tucson is an absolutely stunning vehicle with lots of similar moulds like the Creta, steeply upmarket than the Creta albeit. Tucson was first introduced to the world in 2004. In the meantime Hyundai has revamped the car several times, and the India bound Tucson will be the third generation model. Honda WR-V is a crossover based on the Jazz premium hatchback
If we see the popular recent trend in the global automotive market, the Crossover and compact SUV segment is surely running sky high. Almost in every corner of the world the demand of r a rugged looking spacious compact SUV or a rugged tough looking crossover is rising. Therefore to meet the demand the automakers have been coming up with innovative ideas.
Honda recently introduced the BR-V, which is a compact crossover. The car appears a blend between a compact SUV and a MPV. Now the automaker is developing an all new car in form of WR-V; which will arrive in Indian market sometime around 2017. The car is a compact crossover based on the premium hatchback Honda Jazz. Globally Honda has a premium crossover based on the Jazz, which is dubbed as the HR-V. Considering the price sensitiveness of the Indian customers, the Japanese automaker decided not to launch the pricey HR-V in India. Rather the company opted to develop and launch an all new vehicle in form of Honda WR-V, which will be positioned below the premium HR-V and above the recently launched Honda BR-V.

This new sportier variant will weight less than a tonne and will get a more powerful engine under its hood
According to a recent report in Autocar India Maruti might introduce a sportier Swift Sport variant in India after they launches their new generation Swift hatchback. The new sportier variant might get some exterior update and also a tweaked engine to extract more power. Now Suzuki-> already sales the Swift Sport in some other markets of the World but although the Swift is sold in Indian market for a long time and also has a huge fan following in the Country but Maruti has never considered in launching the sportier variant of the hatchback in the Country.
However everything is going to change soon. The demand of the performance oriented cars like the Fiat Abarth is on the rise constantly in our market and although the Swift hatchback is still quite popular in our market but for the past few years this hatchback is facing some heat from its rivals.
Now we already know Suzuki is all set to unveil the new generation Swift hatchback soon and we have also seen some leaked images of the hatchback already which has done rounds on the internet. Thus you can expect the sportier variant of the Swift to get a more aggressive exterior design followed by a slightly upgraded interior. While under the hood it will also get a tweaked drivetrain as well.
The newest Hybrid sedan with a powerful heart and a stiff pricing
The Honda Accord is a four door sedan from the Japanese manufacturer. Worldwide, the nameplate has been applied to coupe, wagon, hatchback and crossover cars as well. When it was on sale in India, it was available only in the sedan form. The car also had quite a considerable success in the United States. It was also one of the best-selling Japanese car in the U.S. for 15 years from 1982 to 1997.
In the early 1970s, Honda was in a crisis and were about to pull out of the automobile market. However, when they launched the Civic, it went on to become a success. They then decided to build a larger version of the car and it was called the Accord. Accord stands for “Honda’s desire for accord and harmony between the people, the society and the automobile”.The first accord was launched on May 7th 1976 as a 3-door hatchback and as a 4-door sedan the following year. The Honda Accord that is currently on sale is in its ninth generation now.
In India, the Accord was launched in 2001 but even though it was a good car, the sales never took off, especially for the V6 model. 13 years later, in early 2014, Honda pulled the plug on the Accord due to dwindling sales.
The Japanese manufacturer has launched the 2016 Honda Accord in Mountain View, California. This is the first time that Honda has launched a car in the Silicon Valley, the U.S. tech hub. The car will go on sale globally in August and it is also expected to be put on sale in India next year. The car comes with a host of new equipments and safety features.
Honda has decided to reintroduce the Accord in the Indian market again in the year 2016 and they though to go full hybrid this time. The is the ninth generation facelift model which not only gets sharper exterior and interior features but also gets a 2.0L Atkinson VTEC engine and also two electric motors.There are even three different drive modes as well which makes driving even more fun.
