No wonder, Delhi and national capital region is known for having numerous spectacular and exotic luxury cars, while the number of supercars in the region is also relatively very larger than the other part of the country. It is not a rare sight if you catch the glimpse of a Lamborghini or a Ferrari running past you in the national capital region.
It seems a supercar club named Cannon Ball of Delhi arranged a night run event for its members where numerous Lamborghinis, Mercedes Benzs, BMWs, Bentleys and Ferraris took part, and all those cars just ripped the Delhi roads. The video here shows Lamborghini Huracan, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari F12, BMW M3, and Bentley Continental GT running through the roads of Delhi in their night run event. The sounds from the race spec exhaust are simply unmistakable.
If we talk about supercars, Ferrari needs no introduction but a whole large chapter to depict the glory of the Italian auto maker since 1947. No wonder, another Italian giant Lamborghini has always given them toughest competition. When Lamborghini launched Aventador in 2012, Ferrari saw steep competition, and to grab their spot in the supercar market tighter they took up a project to make a car which would come with sheer power and performance like the Aventador and in a wrapping of Ferrari’s signature luxurious comfort. Thus came the Ferrari F12berlinetta, a beautifully gorgeous supercar with extreme power. The Italian company depicts this car as the most powerful Ferrari in the V12 segment.
In India Ferrari offers a few of their exotic models, and F12berlinetta is one of them. Debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor show this car replaced the 599 series grand tourers. The front mid engine, rear wheel drive grand tourer surely saved Ferrari’s face against Lamborghini. The F12berlinetta has won quite a few awards too. The naturally aspirated 6.3 litre Ferrari V12 engine under the hood of F12berlinetta has won the “International Engine of the Year Awards 2013” in the best performance category and best engine above 4.0 litres. This car was also named as the "The Supercar of the Year 2012" by Top Gear. F12berlinetta is one such car, which many of us crave to drive.

This Italian supercar manufacturer does not come in the news quite often but when they decide to do so they like to make it big. I am talking about Ferrari recently they unveiled a very special edition product at the 2014, Paris Motor Show called the Speciale Aperta A and Ferrari announced that only 499 units of this will actually be made. Now to celebrate Ferrari’s 60th year in North America, the Italian supercar manufacturer at a gala event held in Beverly Hills launched the limited edition car based on the F12 Berlinetta christened as the F60 America to celebrate the special occasion.
Only 10 units of this very special edition car will be produced and according to Ferrari this car combines two of American Ferrari owner’s favorite things, the first one is that it has a fire breathing powerful V12 engine under its hood while the other is the open top driving experience. Because this car has V12 unit under the hood expect a lot of punch and sporty performance from the car as soon as one hits the throttle. Although the F60America uses the same engine and is base on the F12 Berlinetta but it still manages to look different from the standard car because this car bodywork has been adopted from the classic North American Racing Team livery, while the Ferrari prancing horse logo or badge on the wheelarches is also placed on the tunnel inside the cabin. Inside the cabin you will also notice some special touches as well for example the bucket seats are wrapped in high quality leather and the entire cabin is finished in the combination of Spoty Red, Black and bright Blue stripes which actually matches with the exterior paint finish.
The Ferrari 599GTB is a rocketship. A missile in the guise of a car. The Ferrari F12 is 120PS more powerful than the 599GTB and is 70kgs lighter too. The additional power makes it the fastest and most powerful road legal Ferrari ever made. This alone is reason enough for the F12 to be considered as one of the most exhilarating cars on the planet. F12 is intended to be a replacement for the 599 GTB and is quicker, smaller, lower and narrower. Ferrari with this car is aiming at providing a car for the slightly more matured buyer who is looking for thrills but also a more satisfying experience. The F12 is a front engine, V12 car which is the most regularly used layout by Ferraris and traditionalist would love this. The F12 however comes with space age technology like active brake cooling ducts, new aerodynamic developments which have not been seen of previous Ferrari’s. In India the F12 is priced at Rs 4.2crores.
