Dodge once again proved that Petrol cars could be faster than electric vehicles. All you need to go fast is power; No don’t get me wrong because until now e knew that Tesla Model S P100D is the fastest production car on this planet which can sprint from 0-100 km/h mark in just 2.5 seconds beating many supercars. But Fiat Chrysler-owned car brand Dodge claims that they have just released the fastest production car in the form of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.

That’s right Dodge once again proved that Muscle cars can quickly believe it or not but this Dodge Challenger can sprint from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h mark) in just 2.3 seconds. This beats of a car is powered by 6.2-liter HEMI Demon V-8 motor, which is capable of producing about 840 horsepower and 770 pounds-feet of torque which also makes this the most powerful Muscle car ever built. The engine is an upgraded version of the ones used in the Hellcat. Dodge has improved the supercharger, pistons, rods, valve train and fuel injection system to generate all that extra power.

This street legal car will be sold in limited numbers. If we talk about performance, the Dodge Demon is the only car which covered Quarter-mile in just 9.65 seconds at 140 mph. The car also holds the record for doing for longest wheelie from a standing start by a production car at 2.92 feet enough to enlist its name in the Guinness World Records. If you are still not happy with that, then this is also the only car which registered the highest g-force (1.8 g) ever recorded at launch in a production car.

Like we already said that the production of this car is limited to just 3,000 vehicles for the United States and about 300 vehicles for Canada.
