The Stonic will make its debut in the month of July
The reports of Kia Motors entering Indian market were doing rounds on the internet for quite some time now. The Korean car manufacturer also has plans to build a brand new manufacturing facility in India to start local production while they are planning to rollout their locally manufactured cars from 2019 onward. They also have announced that they will initially be rolling out two compact cars as of now, while their compact sedan will rival the likes of Maruti Ciaz and Honda City while they will also be introducing a sub-4 meter SUV as well.
Now talking about small SUV’s Kia Motors recently unveiled their new B-segment Crossover called ‘Stonic. Stonic is an original compact Crossover which gets true European design. The name ’Stonic’, in particular, combines two words ‘speedy’ and ‘tonic’. The name has been given in particular to describe the vehicles agility and the hint of fresh new design and features that it will bring with it.

The great luxury Coupe from BMW will launch in 2018
BMW has just unveiled the Concept 8 Series Coupe concept at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy. Although this is a concept car, we are pretty sure the design you see here will be carried on the production car as well with few exceptions to make the vehicle worthy for the road. The car is expected to launch in the year 2018 and will be a part of the biggest model offensive in the company’s history.
As you can already notice the 8 series displays razor sharp dynamics and modern luxury and will be the next model which will be added to BMW lineup of cars. This car will be the benchmark of coupes in this segment and also will be the flagship offering from the luxury brand. You also have to keep in mind the fact the fact that BMW resurrected the 8 series after almost 19 years. A Concept car which could open lots of opportunities for Mercedes in the compact car segment
Mercedes-Benz did showcase quite a few exciting products at the 2017 Shanghai Auto show but what attracted the most number of attentions is the concept that they showcased alongside their regular lineup. Called the Concept A Sedan, with this Concept Mercedes-Benz is providing an outlook of the next generation of compact vehicles and a potential, new body type.
To make it simple, this is the new concept which most probably will later be converted into the production variant of the A-Class sedan which will be sold alongside the A-Class hatchback. This compact car will compete directly with the likes of the Audi A3 sedan and the soon to be introduced BMW 1-Series sedan. The Jaguar I-Pace Concept attracted a lot of eyeballs at the 2017 Geneva Motor show. This is one car which has redefined our era of automotive engineering; it is the only car which has supercar inspired aesthetics, sports car performance and SUV space, in one electric package.

The I-Pace concept according to Jaguar represents the next generation of battery electric vehicles. The I-Pace is an electric car which has a range of 500 Kilometres (NEDC cycle) from the 90kWh lithium-ion battery. Charging the car is also quick with 80 percent charge can be completed in just 90 minutes using 50kW DC charging.
The I-Pace is powered by compact electric lightweight motors which together can combine a total power output of 400PS and 700Nm of torque. It has also had the benefits of an all-weather drive with the help of an all-wheel drive system. If we talk about performance, the i-Pace can accelerate from 0-100 km/h mark in just 4 seconds.
Jaguar promises that the I-Pace will be able to deliver the agility, ride comfort and refinement which will set it apart from the other electric cars available in the market right now. It will also be a true blue Jaguar and a real drivers’ car they added.
Two seater mid-engine sports coupe from Tata could become the most affordable sports car of the Indian market
Last month when Tata Motors introduce their new sub-brand Tamo in India, they did inform at the time of introduction that they will also be taking covers of the first product from the same sub-brand at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor show. They indeed kept their promise and showcased the first product which surprisingly was a two-seater sports coupe.
The newest Sports Coupe is called ‘Racemo’ and is still in its concept form but this will soon turn into a reality and will go on sale in the Indian market in the year 2018 promised the Tata Motors officials. The Tamo is an experimental platform for Tata Motors which will not build mass oriented cars but some exciting products equipped with all the modern features and technology in limited numbers.
The Racemo designed at the company’s studio in Italy, and it gets its styling inspiration from Tata Motors IMPACT design language. The recent reports also suggest that the production variant of the car will also be showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo before it finally hits the Indian road.

The Baleno RS gets additional power but actually gets a more frugal petrol unit
Maruti showcased the Baleno RS Concept at the 2016 Auto expo and although this looked identical to the standard Baleno hatchback with fewer exceptions but actually features a more powerful engine under the hood. Maruti already launched the Baleno in India and after a year after of the 2016 Auto Expo, in an attempt to impress the Indian customers who love performance-oriented hatchbacks they now launched the Baleno RS hatchback.
Like we already mentioned above the Baleno RS gets a slightly more powerful engine under the hood and is actually a performance oriented hatch and one of its kind from the stable of Maruti Suzuki. The RS variant is positioned above the existing hatchback and is sold through the Nexa showrooms.
The report suggested that the newest performance-oriented hatchback gets a slightly more powerful 1.0-liter Boosterjet unit. The new engine which also makes its Indian debut promises to deliver an impressive amount of power and torque figures along with an exceptional fuel efficiency figures.

This car could take on the KWID and the Alto in future
Tata Motors is taking some big steps to promote their future products and platform. They have already tied up with Microsoft for their future infotainment system. Tata Motors and Microsoft India Collaborates To Bring Connected Experience For Their Future Customers
The TAMO Futuro Concept will be the first car which will benefit from this technology platform
Tata Motors and Microsoft has joined hands and announced a strategic agreement to redefine connected and personalized driving experiences for Indian customers. Tata Motors will now benefit from Microsoft’s connected vehicle technologies which work by bringing together artificial intelligence (AI), advanced machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities on the global hyper-scale Azure cloud.
This new technology, in turn, will actually help in creating a highly personalized, smarter and also safer driving experience across both the digital and real world of the vehicle owners. The first car equipped with all these future technologies will be showcased for the first time Infront of the public at 2017, Geneva Motor show which will commence from March 7th onward.

The sportier concept variant of the new generation Swift hatchback
Suzuki unveiled the all new generation Swift hatchback in Japan towards the last week of December 2016 and being one of the most popular models of the Indian market expect this all new hatchback to make it to the Indian shores by the second half of 2017. But before that at the Tokyo Motor Salon Suzuki has showcased the slightly sportier Concept variant of the Swift hatchback. Dubbed as the Swift Racer RS this sportier variant of the hatch gets new livery and some added cosmetic updates over the standard variant.
