Tata’s Upcoming Compact Sedan Tigor Spotted Without Camouflage Wearing The Badge

Tata Motors Tigor sedan has surely become on of the most anticipated car of the Indian market now. It was showcased for the first time at the 2016 Auto Expo and we loved every bit of it. Now recently we also came to know that the upcoming compact sedan will be called Tigor.
Recently the sedan was caught without a camouflage wearing the Tigor nameplate which actually builds up our anticipation even more. According to some reports Tata Motors will most probably launch the new compact sedan during the month of April 2017 in India.
Expect the Tigor’s front profile to be identical to what you have seen on the Tiago hatchback however expect the rear profile to be completely different. The sloping roofline perfectly meets the boot lid and also gets a rear roof spoiler as well while the tail section gets a wraparound taillamps and LED mount stop lamps. The top end petrol and diesel trims is also expected to feature a diamond cut alloy wheels available on the top end Tiago hatchback.
Under the hood expect the Tata Tigor hatchback to get the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder diesel and the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol unit taken from its hatchback sibling. Both the engines are paired to a 5 speed manual gearbox while Tata will also introduced an AMT transmission as well.
If we talk about pricing then expect the Tigor compact sedan to be priced quite competitively, some reports suggests that the starting price of the Tigor sedan could be as low as 4 Lakh rupees ex, showroom.
The Tata [Tigor->article156403> will lock horns with some other subcompact sedan like the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent.
