The XUV700 will be the first vehicle to wear Mahindra’s brand-new logo that you may or may not like
Mahindra is gearing up to launch the XUV700 and it is expected to come with a whole lot of changes. But, a week before the launch, the automaker decided to shift its focus a bit by revealing its new logo. The XUV700, debuting on Independence Day, will be the first Mahindra vehicle to wear the ‘Twin Peaks’ logo.
0The New Logo Looks Very Different From The One It Replaces0
Unlike Kia that has merely changed the font of its logo and Volkswagen that has gone all 2-D, Mahindra has come up with a logo that doesn’t look anything similar to the current one. The Twin Peaks logo is said to be in line with the company’s brand statement - ‘Explore the Impossible’. Although the XUV700 will grace the badge first, all other SUVs in the company’s lineup will follow suit.
One intriguing thing, however, is that the logo is said to be only for SUVs.
Does this mean the Mahindra commercial vehicles will continue to wear the same old design? We’ll have to wait and watch. The company also noted that this new visual identity will be seen across 823 cities by 2022.
So, Pratap Bose’s first move after shifting from Tata to Mahindra was designing the logo and not a car. Interesting! What are your thoughts on Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo? Watch the official video below, voiced by Naseeruddin Shah, and share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
