All the Huracan variants are now available on sale in the Indian market

Lamborghini definitely has become serious about the Indian market and it shows because within just 6 months of the launch of the special edition Huracan Avio they have also introduced the RWD variant of the Huracan as well. With the launch of the new RWD Huracan Spyder, the entire Huracan lineup now is available in the Indian market.

Coming to this soft top Spyder, it is powered by the 5.2 Litre naturally aspirated V10 unit which is capable of producing about 580 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm and 540Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. This car actually makes 30 Less horses and 20 Nm of lesser torque than the all wheel drive variant. However the 7 speed duel clutch transmission is the same unit available on the more powerful all wheel coupe variant.

Talk about performance and surely this RWD Spyder does not disappoint anyone at all. The Huracan Spyder is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h mark in just 3.6 seconds while it can reach a top speed of 319 kmph mark.

Compared to the all wheel drive variant the Spyder variant looks slightly different. The open top variant gets a slightly larger front air intake which helps in increasing the down force on the front axels. The Convertible also features 245-section rubber at the front and 305-section rubbers at the rear, the Pirelli PZero tires, are developed specially for this RWD variant. The soft top panel on the top takes just 17 seconds to open or close and can be operated upto speeds of 50 km/h mark.

Just like the exterior the interior also gets wrapped with all the plush materials, the cockpit also houses Lamborghini’s latest Infotainment system with a 12.3-inch hi-res TFT instrument panel. Just like every other Huracan variants the RWD Spyder too gets the ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management: ‘soul’ in Italian) button on the steering wheel which actually allows the driver to select different driving modes. This driving mode includes Strada, Sport and Corsa to extract the maximum performance.

Priced at INR. 3. 45 Crores (ex showroom), the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder RWD competes directly with the Audi R8 and the BMW i8 in India.
