Jaguar F-Pace is expected to launch in India later this year
Goodwood Festival of Speed is known for displaying some stunning automotive activities. And this year Jaguar stunned everyone with the two wheel drive of the F-Pace. Last year the luxury SUV amazed us with its 360 degree loop, which set a Guinness record. And now the Jaguar F-Pace took an amazing entry to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The 360 degree loop stunt’s driver Terry Grunt took the car running on two wheels while the other two wheels remained in air. Along with him was freestyle professional motorcycle stunt rider Lee Bowlers. Lee climbed out of the side window and climbed back inside the co-passenger seat during the stunt. No wonder this was a terribly tough task for Terry Grunt, as the stunt needed lot of control and calculation. After the stunt he was describing how the lightweight yet rigid frame of the Jaguar F-Pace has helped him doing the stunt so perfectly. Before doing the stunt at Goodwood the terry Grunt and Lee Bowlers practiced it several times at the Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire.
The Jaguar F-Pace was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and the car was displayed at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo as well. The British marquee is expected to launch the SUV in Indian market later this year. Power sources for the muscular stylish car come from Ingenium engine family. The car is available in both the petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 2.0 litre engine producing 237 bhp of peak power, while there is a 3.0 litre V6 engine generating 377 bhp of peak power. A massive 5.0 litre supercharged V8 motor is also there. The diesel version gets two different engine options, which are 2.0 litre engine kicking out 177 bhp and a 3.0 litre V6 engine churns out 337 bhp. The car comes available in both the Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations.
