There is some big news for the Ford vehicle owners living in Mumbai and East India. After the devastating rains in Mumbai, Ford Motors has decided to extend their helping hand to those customers whose cars were damaged by the rains, subsequent floods and water logging.
Ford has decided to bare 50 percent of their customer’s liability in replacement of auto parts for which they claimed insurance. To ensure smooth flow of work Surveyors from insurance companies have been stationed at the Ford service centres to make sure that the insurance claims are processed swiftly. To further help their customers Ford is also extending additional benefits as well which includes free engine oil replacement on all affected Ford vehicles, 50% discount on anti-rust coating on the underbody and a 50% discount on labor charges for replacement of those parts not covered under insurance claims.
Additionally all the service centers will remain open and operational until extra hours to continue with the maintenance and repair work. Ford is also helping those customers by offering 20 percent discount on booking self-driving cars from Zoom car in case the cars take more than 24 hours to complete.

MUMBAI, India, 06 September, 2017 – Ford India is extending special discounts on repairs of cars that were impacted by recent torrential rains and subsequent floods or water logging in Mumbai as well as several parts Eastern India.
As a goodwill gesture, Ford will absorb 50% of a customers’ liability on auto part replacement for which they have claimed insurance. Surveyors from insurance companies have been stationed at Ford service centers to faciliate swift processing of insurance claims.
