Toyota Kirloskar has unveiled the facelift Innova and Fortuner at the Auto Expo. This is the first major change to the Innova since it was launched in the Indian market in 2005. The Fortuner SUV was launched in 2009 and for the 4x4 this is the first facelift as well.

New to the Innova are the redesigned headlamps, fog lamps and a front grille. No changes have been made to the body panels but the interiors have been spruced up and the Innova gets steering-mounted controls and a touchscreen display with DVD, AUX and Bluetooth. Prices have also been raised and the new Innova is priced between Rs9,40,200 to Rs13,19,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. No changes have been made to the engine and the Innova uses the same 2.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine which produces a maximum output of 102PS@3600rpm with 200Nm of torque between 1400 and 3400rpm.

The Fortuner gets redesigned headlamps and taillamps as well, a new grille, alloy wheels and the cabin gets black wood finish along with a 2DIN touchscreen system. The biggest change however in the Fortuner is the 2WD 5 speed manual transmission and 2WD 4 speed automatic transmission which has now been added. Prices for the facelift Fortuner now start from Rs19,99,000 to Rs20,99,000 ex-showroom New Delhi for the 2WD and the 4WD respectively.
