The new Tv Commercial on some of the main features of the 2017 City sedan

Honda launched the facelift City sedan in India on 14th February 2017. The prices for the facelift sedan starts from 8.50 Lakhs onward and it gets both petrol and diesel drivetrains under its hood.

The new sedan is available in S, SV, V, and VX grades, while Honda also reintroduced the ZX grade as well. If we talk about changes the sedan gets completely new LED headlamps which also integrated LED daytime running lamps as well. The front profile also gets a new bumper as well which also houses a new set of LED fog lamps. Towards the side profile, the car gets a new set of 15-inch wheels for the mid and lower variant while the top end variants get bigger 16-inch diamond cut two-tone alloy wheels. The rear profile also gets a restyled LED taillamps and a new integrated trunk spoiler completed with LED brake lamps.

On the inside the sedan now features Beige upholstery; the biggest change, however, comes in the form of a new 7.7-inch Digipad touchscreen infotainment system. This new infotainment system also gets integrated satellite navigational system, voice navigation, and Mirror link system. This new system also gets a 1.5 GB of internal storage as well.

Under the hood, the City sedan gets the same 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.5 Litre petrol engine is capable of producing about 119 Ps of peak power while the 1.5 Litre, i-DTEC diesel unit is capable of producing about 100 ps of peak power. While the petrol model is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox there is also an optional CVT transmission available as well. The diesel engine, on the other hand, gets paired to a 6-speed gearbox. While the petrol engine promises to return an overall fuel efficiency figures of 17.4 km/l (MT), 18 km/l (CVT) while the diesel unit promises to return around 25.6 km/l.

The new official, TV Commercial highlights the new facelift sedans features including its push start/stop button, sunroof, the new infotainment system, the sedans new alloy wheels, LED headlamps and taillamps and plenty more. The top end ZX grade too has been highlighted in this new commercial.
