One such manufacturer called Minerva Special Purpose Vehicles specializes on armored vehicles has built this special SUV based on the Toyota Fortuner.

Now we all know that the Fortuner is a already a sturdy looking SUV which is powered by a 3.0L, D-4D Diesel Common Rail Type Fuel Injection engine with intercooler turbochargers which is capable of producing about 171 Ps of peak power and 343 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed Automatic transmission. Although the new generation Fortuner gets a different diesel engines under its hood but this armored car is based on the previous generation Toyota Fortuner.

This special SUV has been fitted with 5 flat run wheels which actually can help the car to run on flat tyres for quite some distance if the tyres are shot down. The SUV also gets protection from Fragmentation Grenades and AP land Mines and also ED protections. This armored Fortuner gets an upgraded suspension setup as well to carry all that extra weight. This SUV also gets B$+ and B6 Ballistic level protection as well.

This is truly a fully equipped vehicle which can protect anyone from possible threats while also providing all the comforts that is expected from a standard Fortuner SUV.
