BLING! Tata Punch Dark Edition could look like this

Our quick render on how the Dark Edition of the new Tata Punch could look like

Tata Motors sells dark editions of several models including the Nexon, Altroz and the Harrier. These have been extremely popular with buyers and we think the company might offer this special edition in the Punch range as well. So would it look like? Here’s our thought in the form of three renders...

Bookings for the Punch opened a few days back and the official launch will take place on the 20th of October. The micro SUV will rival the Ignis and the KUV100 and dealer dispatches have started too. From us, its a big thumbs up to the Punch

Most of us will agree that the Tata Punch is one hell of a good looking compact SUV. Based on the HBX concept showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, the Punch looks muscular and modern at the same time. While the current colour options are attractive, what if Tata Motors decided to offer it in a Dark Edition too? This was the thought process behind the images you see here and do note, the company has not made any official statement on this edition yet.

The Dark Edition, if launched, will end up looking like this. All black with minor silver inserts

Tata Motors already sells the Dark Range in India which comprises of the Altroz premium hatchback, Harrier mid-size SUV and the Nexon compact SUV. Additionally, the Nexon’s EV version is also available in a Dark theme. Joining these four cars could be the Punch and we can’t help but imagine how cool it would look on Indian roads. For our render, we gave a black effect to the entire body of the Punch apart from the DRLs, fog lamps, headlamps and the tail lights. Ditto for the silver brand and model logos on either ends.

This is the first time you are seeing this angle for the Punch Dark Edition

You will agree the end result does look cool, right? However, this will come at a small premium. For the Altroz, customers have to shell out an extra Rs 25k and its safe to assume the same will be applicable to the Punch too. Plus, the Dark Edition might be reserved for the range topping Creative Persona variant. Will this happen? If yes, remember you saw it here first!
