Porsche recently introduced the all new Boxster Roadster and although it looks quite identical to the old car but the most important thing is that it is now called 718 which also happen to be this auto brands successful car back in the 60’s era. Although this car looks identical to the old car but Porsche explains that every single panel is new in this car except bonnet, windscreen and the boot. Apart from the exterior the interior too gets a subtle update. However the interior changes come in the form of a new smaller steering wheel and a new infotainment system.

Porsche has made number of changes to make the new Roadster much better handling machine, they not only have tweaked the rear suspension but also has borrowed a more faster steering from the 911 Turbo. Apart from all the Porsche has also ditched the previous engines in favor of a smaller 2.0 Liter four cylinder flat engine. This engine is capable of producing about 300 Hp of peak power and 300 NM of torque.

The car driven in this video is the S Model and thus it gets the 2.5 Liter engine which also comes with a turbocharger unit and thus it produces 350 Hp of peak power and an impressive 420 Nm of torque. Both the models get 6 speed manual transmission as standard but one can also opt for the PDK transmission as well.
