Mahindra and Mahindra recently launched the all-new Mahindra XUV700 in the Indian market at an astonishing starting price of just Rs 11.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. Needless to say, there was a lot of buzz and excitement about its phenomenal pricing among the prospective buyers. The bookings for the new Mahindra XUV700 commenced in India today at 10 AM and the first batch of 25,000 units of the SUV got sold out in just 57 minutes. That’s absolutely crazy!

Now, in case you were unable to book one today for yourself, fret not, as the bookings for the Mahindra XUV700 will re-open tomorrow again. However, you will have to pay new prices for the SUV. But, what’s interesting is that the new prices of the XUV700 are very attractive for the next 25,000 customers too. Post that, the company will be increasing the prices of the SUV and you have to pay the price applicable at the time of delivery. One can book the Mahindra XUV700 offline by visiting their nearest Mahindra showroom or online on Mahindra’s digital platform.
The Mahindra XUV700 is offered in India with two engine options. The first one is a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol unit that pumps out a whopping 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of peak torque. It also gets a 2.0-litre mHawk diesel engine. The diesel motor churns out 155 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque in the base MX trim and 185 PS of maximum power and 420 Nm of torque in other variants. In fact, the automatic variants of the SUV develop 450 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines of the Mahindra XUV700 come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and they even get a 6-speed torque-converter AT.
The price of the new Mahindra XUV700 after today’s minor increment now starts at Rs 12.49 lakhs for the base MX series variant and it goes up to Rs 22.99 lakhs for the AX7 trim’s diesel automatic top model with AWD and Luxury package. It rivals the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, etc.
